Collazo doesn't have Mayweather's "footspeed", but his footwork is top notch. He is never off balance and he throws his combinations with perfect technique and torque. He shifts his weight perfect just like Mayweather. Don't let any other fool tell you otherwise.

And FYI about Hatton, he usually has a 8 week training camp, and he comes to the fight around 150-152 but for Tszyu he had 12 weeks and he came in at 148. He was noticeably smaller then usual and seemed alot more energetic that fight.
Collazo throws pretty good combinations, but they are not amazing by any means. Oftentimes I noticed that when he throws combinations he squares his feet to much, leaving him open to counters.

What exactly does Clottey do (most likely Margarito's next opponent) for Tony that Collazo doesn't? At least we can say Collazo has graduated from prospect status and has a good win over Jose Rivera under his belt. I would give Margarito way more credit for beating Collazo. Why is this man scared to face a true contender at welterweight?

Margarito scared of Collazo? Margarito has already called him out. Collazo is on top of his list of possible opponent for this december, but it looks like it will be Rivera, cause Rivera is the only one actually trying to set something up with Arum.

You are really going to have to pay attn. I never said Tony should fight Clottey.

But you are defending the fight while saying Collazo isn't worth fighting because he lost (controversially).

Look, it's not like Collazo lost his last fight by a total blowout. A lot of people thought he won the fight and if not for a flash knockdown in the first round it probably would have been a draw. His win over Rivera is better than anything Clottey has done. Can you even name Clottey's best win? So what's the problem with the fight?

I agree with you that Collazo is a better opponent than Clottey. But people will look to the fact that Clottey was dominating Badlomir (WW Champ) and was DQ'd unfairly. So in theory Clottey should own a win over the division champ while Collazo's best win is against Rivera. I don't agree with it but that is the argument I think.

I don't think Margarito is scared of Collazo at all. What I do think he's scared of is getting in the ring with a legitimate challenger, someone who would not be a major underdog, and risking his potential payday against Floyd or whatever elite fighter steps up. I mean, how long can this guy continue to fight prospects and no hopers without catching any hate in return?

PBF34, it may have been because Hatton was imposing his will on Collazo. Floyd's footwork didn't exactly look flawless when he was fighting Castillo now did it?

You haven't read my posts. I said Tony could fight Tony, but Collazo has no right nor do any Floyd nutsuckers, to say that Tony is 'ducking' Collazo just because he is looking to fight someone else. Rivera is equally on Collazo's level, and when you just LOSE a fight, your rep takes a little hit. Never said it wouldn't be a good fight...not the best either though.

That fight was 7 years ago and I don't know anyone who's seen it. Who cares what he did 7 years ago? What has he done in the last 3? Very little...
