I read the post, man. I was just teasing you.
Man. it's not some kind of secret. In fact it's not even a little bit of a secret, it's just how promotion is done. Course you want all the biggest journalists at your events and of course you want them to be happy and well disposed towards you. Ain't really the sinisiter 'buy off' you're trying to make it sound. You never been VIPd for anything?
You contrive to make it sound like it's some kinda revelation, that only you knew about.
EDIT: Shit, man... you need to get in touch with PBC. I've heard they're plenty generous with the free tickets too and if anyone deserves some it's gotta be you.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 11-22-2019, 09:01 PM.Comment

Eddie is just throwing wild accusations out there but it does give you an idea about how and what he thinks about journalists. https://t.co/9EDgCKo1vY

You have every right to offer but it is up to the boxing media to turn it down. It creates a conflict. You then have media members beholden to you and less apt to criticize when necessary.

Sad thing is you used to be one of my go to sources for news stories. Even though I was aware that you were always a bit selective you were still a great newshound. Now. Not so much. Thing is this isn't even news unless you talking to someone who really got no clue how the world works.
Now if you told me that he was holding these journos families hostage and telling 'em what to write, that would be a story.
And you really think that the journos who cover PBC fights buy their own tickets, man? Hell - I don't even know - maybe they do, but if so Al's missing a trick... and I gather he ain't at all shy about corporate hospitality so I can't see why he wouldn't.Comment
