I just learned Wilder's guarantee for Ortiz is $3m, Ortiz's guarantee is $1.5. I mean even if their guarantee is doubled with PPV and then Haymon has some of this weird tax side money stuff, that $100m over 3 fights still seems outrageous in comparison.
you are great at starting with your conclusion and working backwards but maybe try the other way? breazele only made a million to fight wilder. is wilder short changing opponents? you refuse to admit ortiz is making 7 million because thats what joshua offered him so i guess you just think ortiz is worth 7 mill a fight? how does ortiz's purse jump from 1 million to 7 in a year. what happened in that year? was it a popularity boom on his part? a bunch of great wins? a 7 million dollar offer from a rival network? guess we will never know. funny enough if ortiz had accpted the joshua fight you would be saying wilder short changed ortiz in the first fight by only giving him 1 million.
Ortiz didnt get 1mil in the first fight.
Multiply it by half.
Prior to fury's fight, has any body among the 38 fighters that fought wilder made anything close to 1mil?

Wilder was barely making that so doubtful his opponents did.

All of a sudden some ******s wants us to believe wilder is a draw. He should bow at AJ's feet for upgrading him to the status he is operating at the moment. He would still be fighting for 2mil.
AJ gives career high pay to every opponent including Wlad and Ruiz.
Canelo and Joshua sure don’t. Wilder, GGG and Pacquiao seem too.
Wilder and GGG aren't what you'd call "cash cows" though are they? I could be wrong but it always seemed to me that the Canelos, Oscars, Floyds and Sugar Rays pretty much pay what they feel like paying.
