What changed? DAZN's sudden addition to the landscape where Thurman made $1.4 million in his first step up fight against Porter who made $1 million. A far bigger fight than this Ortiz Wilder II.

DAZN, AJ, Hearn are Wilder's biggest promoters. They made him worth this much. He'll still be worth $1 mil without them.

If he was a Brit the Brits would believe it.

Only Brits are sufferring about Wilder's purse. I don't hear Wilder complaining.

What I think is that the over valued this fight. I don't see how it is profitable when there is no buzz. Showtime didn't want to run with this fight.

Is it though? Fox clearly saw a chance to take Wilder from Showtime and put up the money. Let's say this fight does 250,000 buys. At $80 that's $20m gross. Let's say cable companies take 40% which would leave $12m, Fox only have come up with $15m to pay the purses. How much did Showtime pay Wilder and Breazeale? Probably more than $15m.

Both fights were disasters. This fight won't do 250k first of all, and even if it did, they would still swim in a sea of red.

                  They can't sell tickets either.

Showtime passed on the fight, that should tell you everything.

I'm sorry my man, but Joshua's loss to Ruiz does not make Wilder's resume better

never said it did, but it also does not make Joshua the top heavyweight "BECAUSE HE DRAWS MORE"
