As usual doubt everything about the PBC, but believe everything DAZN tells you.

How great can one be when was already a unified chip in 21 fights.
Even some of the sports greats are jealous of him.
I know someone who was still fighting uber drivers ranked above 100 at fight #21.
Your guess is as good as mine.

And some clowns on these forums were saying how Wilder will go broke without AJ...

I'm not really an AJ or Wilder fan...or a hater of either.

AJ's resume to this point in his career is pretty good...but to be fair he has been a big star in boxing for a while, even when he just started coming up...what that has meant is that he can make whatever fights he wants to make, and doesn't necessarily have to make any others.

He has some good wins and good performances so far in his career...but overall his win sheet is a bit of smoke and mirrors imo...the Wlad win was a solid one, but also Wlad was old and inactive...similar with Povetkin...and AJ was rather ordinary vs Parker and Takam and then lost to Ruiz.

So listing him anywhere near an ATG at HW at this point is very premature imo...he still has time on his side though and to this point in his career he is on a good track...but he has to keep winning, and that may be tough for him if the next 5-10 fights are with guys of Ruiz's level or above.

If the most known American HWT and the sport's cash cow with a huge Mexican fanbase are losing huge sums of money in Vegas this sport is in trouble.
Yeah that's my initial reaction too man...like how are they doing this lol...paying these purses for 200k or whatever PPVs...I don't get it.

For perspective if a PPV was $80 and it sold 500k...that's 40 million to split up...and you can bet everyone else will take about half of that before it even gets to the fighters.

Happy for Wilder and Ortiz but at the same time scratching my head lol

If you are ****** enough to think that Wilder is making anywhere near 20 million for this fight, then you are ****ing ******ed. I understand lying to make it seem like Wilder is doing well, but damn, paying Wilder and Ortiz 27 million for a rematch that won't sellout the arena and will bomb on PPV, is just ****** beyond words. AMD for you idiots to believe that, is even worse.

He may have lost to Ruiz, I don't give a fxzk. Anybody can loose in HW boxing but the guy has a heart.
Taking risks early in his career made him what he is today and thats why hez the draw in the division.

I think he was the draw early on because he was a good looking, well mannered kid from the UK who won the gold medal on home soil...so I think he has had some help so far along the way.

But he is a good fighter...his stamina, chin and heart/toughness are still up for debate right now imo...but he has a chance to prove himself on all of that many times over.
