The fact that Canelo fans don't want the fight tells me that it is more to do with them wanting to 'pick' more favorable options for Canelo that he should be more in control of...I think the GGG fight still scares them a bit.
Canelo stops Borat in the 3rd fight, but you specifically will still suck his d.ick.

So why have a fight when its gonna be worse than Kovalev?

      Canelo has his purse guaranteed.
I don’t think it is definitive that GGG’s is. His last fight for example had half his purse in cash (about 7.5 million) and the other half in DAZN stock options. Can’t imagine those are worth much of anything right now.
His purse seems a little more fluid which is why his team and DAZN tried so hard to force a Canelo fight this year.
I doubt DAZN is going to give up $100 million in cash for GGG to fight the bums he usually does. It’s not like he’s bringing in that many DAZN subs.

LMAO at this point ggg is a cherrypick for canelo... and i will be willing to put my account on the line...
ggg is no longer the most difficult fight for canelo anymore, there are better fights out there... not financially of course, but as a fight fan for me there are better fights...

but then again, other than money, canelo knows he isnt getting credit for that fight anymore so i understand why he isnt interested anymore...

Dude it doesn’t matter how their paychecks break down, fact is even Hearn has said that the fight should be easier to make since splits and who gets paid what isn’t an issue. The only hold up here is Canelo..ain’t nothing really besides date, venue, and weight to discuss

Which is why there is little to no incentive for Canelo.
He already beat him when was undefeated, took all his middleweight titles.
Beating an older version of him for a middleweight title he probably won’t defend doesn’t do much for him.
GGG needs to prove to DAZN he’s worth what they paid him. Canelo has made it clear he’s not letting GGG eat off his name anymore.

The momentum is gone. Canelo dodged it in sept, then ggg looked like crap vs derevyanchenko.

How is the momentum for another handicapped fight with the opponent going off as a 4-1 underdog?

He already beat him is extremely debatable but considering they had 24 rounds that could easily be split down the middle and two fights that could’ve swung either way..not sure what the hang up is in trying to get a clean clear victory..or why folks seem to not want it..since when do we not want razor thin fights to get run back? It’s still the toughest fight of canelos career post floyd.

Is anyone bringing in enough subs to justify their pay? Canelo, Golovkin, Jacobs etc. DAZN is really throwing money around. For example Canelo is paid in cash and gets 35M per fight. Golovkin is paid 7.5M and needs to generate x amount of subs for DAZN to make back their outlay. Canelo needs to bring in almost 5 times that amount. How many of these subscriptions are for the one fight then cancelled. Jacobs etc. are getting well also.

If Canelo KTFO GGG in round 1 fans will cry about age. If it's close again fans will cry about robbery.

In 24 rounds I have it 13-11 or 14-10 Canelo. Either way they're evenly matched. Much like how Pac and JMM were evenly matched.
OK man and what happened in one of those next Pac-JMM fights...fireworks! I think that could happen for Canelo-GGG so until one can flat out dominate the other...I say let them do it until one falls.

I understand the point about credit...but some people will never give credit for anything anyway...no matter who a guy beats, if someone doesn't like him, they will find a way to not give credit.
