I'm not sure GGG's own fans are all that motivated to see a third fight considering some are saying in advance that they wouldn't give Canelo credit even in a knockout victory. Hell, they wouldn't even give Canelo credit for the second fight even though GGG's own trainer described people who complained about the decision as whiny hypocrites. It seems like some of his fans are just looking to take a page out of their old playbook by trying to claim GGG is being avoided (even though he has plenty of options yet seems to have little interest in facing any other champ). And I'm not sure GGG is particularly motivated by a Canelo fight either considering he previously rejected career high paydays for the first and second bouts, and reportedly created roadblocks during early talks for a third fight by being "adamant" about dictating the location even though he had no leverage coming off a loss and with no belt at the time.
As for Canelo, he's said he's open to a third fight if the financial terms are right. In reality he already went above and beyond in the second fight, both by giving in to GGG's inflated demands to salvage it and going in there and beating GGG by his own standards and at his own game.
