Yeah, the Whyte incident came to mind when I saw this ban.Comment

Wow, that is pretty pathetic considering Martin didn't put up much of a fight against Taylor. I wonder how fast Taylor would have gotten him out of there, had Martin not been cheating.Comment

Everyone is talking and comparing Whyte to Martin. Did those people check the time-frame of the respective allegations and the process UKAD goes through? Nope, This Martin/Taylor fight happen in November 2018, so it took UKAD a full year to conclude Martin's case. This is where some of us have been critical of UKAD (The long time it takes to sort out their respective processes). So don't expect Whyte's case to be done in 6 months, same way Tyson Fury's case with UKAD wasn't done in 6 months.
My only thing is they should continue banning athletes in accordance with the WADA code of conduct, the ban should reflect a worldwide ban, not just UK. And they should not allow lawyers for bigger name boxers to be able to blackmail them from enforcing a ban like they did with Tyson Fury. I remember them banning Larry Olabamiwo for 4 years and they need to continue doing that but with a shorter process.Comment

No good? You said he was going to knock Taylor out.Ryan Martin is no good, just like Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte. Unlike a lot of 'fans' I will stop supporting Ryan Martin for his underhanded cheating ; I wish Tyson and Dillian's fanbase would have the same integrity as I do.
I don't care if its the 'Bronze-Bomber' himself in question, I call it down the middle.

But earlier on you saidt his about UKAD and UK fighters: "There isn’t one who’s banned currently. That’s insane considering how many fighters from the United Kingdom engage in fights on UK soil."
Now consider how many fighters from the US engage in fights on US soil - many times more than the number foreign fighters who fight in the US and the number of UK fighters who fight in the UK - but USADA hasn't suspended a single one of them!
And please answer these questions .. if UKAD give preferential treatment to UK fighters in international fights, how come they cleared Rivas (Columbia) and red flagged Whyte (UK) before their fight, after both passed all their VADA tests?
If UKAD are allowing UK fighters to get away with using PEDs on UK soil - which is what you're saying - then how come they flagged Whyte for a miniscule trace of Dbol which was so small that VADA tests didn't even pick it up?Comment

UKAD don't make anything public until a case is concluded and a ruling made. Fury and Whyte's flagged test results were both leaked to the press by persons unknown, neither were announced by UKAD.
If Whyte gets away scot free that won't be because of UKAD, that will be because an independent tribunal looks at all the evidence and makes a ruling on it.
UKAD tried to suspend Whyte and stop him from fighting Rivas, remember?
What we need to run the anti-doping programme in the UK is an organisation that acts immediately on flagged test results and makes those actions known to everybody involved.
We also need a testing organisation who are completely impartial and don't go out of their way to dig up issues with samples taken from outspoken athletes like Fury and Whyte who say controversial things.
Fury annoyed influential people with statements about gays and ***ish financiers .... UKAD dig up an old test result 15 months old and decide to charge him with a PED offense because of it.
Whyte attacks UKAD for granting TUEs to athletes with money behind them, like AJ, and refusing them for everybody else ... and before his next fight, UKAD charge him with PED abuse for something that a whole battery of VADA tests failed to detect.
Coincidence?

Apparently you don't know the rules of boxing, Josh Taylor rabbit-punched Ryan Martin and hit him while he ( Martin ) was down, Vic Laughlin then stopped the fight as if all those illegal blows were legit and called the fight.Comment
