Ur totally right there’s a watered down slang version of “gangster” and “pimp” that’s not taken literally, but gleans the most “attractive” traits. Still every race and country has legit gangs/pimps that could very well take issue with someone using those terms in their presence regardless of intention. The point is she is a boxing champ, so I assume it’s more flattery than blasphemy.Ugh, once again White boys who are either old/lame AF don't know what slang means.
To call yourself "gangsta" in a hood sense doesn't mean that you're actually a gangster.
Actual gangster's don't call themselves "gangsta", they usually call themselves "real g's" or "real nxggaz" or "goons" or "real ass cats" or something like that.
"Gangsta" in this sense means that she's tough in what she does.
Also, for future reference, to call yourself a "pimp" doesn't necessarily mean you have ladies out on a street corner.
To "pimp" something out can mean to make something better (i.e. Pimp My Ride)
Or it can mean to be really adept or proficient at something, (i.e. "I pimped the game before it pimped me).

Yeah I used to get worked up occasionally on here/online when I felt I would make a great point or something and the other side would just double down...but you eventually just realize that people will see things how they want sometimes, no matter what..no sense in getting worked up over it...I feel like that guy from Office Space more and more these days lolComment
