    Fight went to Fox, instead.
    Where else would it go?

Exactly, yet some fanboys want us to believe
there was bidding that took place and Fox won.
Some even suggest DAZN, ESPN, etc. participated in it.

Showtime has been in the business for decades and they knew
exactly the value of a fight like this Ortiz/Wilder.

In life, if you have no other choice to go, you forfeit dictating your terms.

Also according to his trainer who said all the way back in April on Tha Boxing Voice that if Ortiz manager (not Haymon) turns down the Joshua fight he has a contract clause that guarantees Ortiz a similar payday for his next fight. So if the $7 mil offer from Hearn was legit then Ortiz is getting $7 mil for Wilder

Of course. They're all working together to save face and spite Hearn. Not hard to lie bruh.

Question you must be asking is, if this didn't make sense for Showtime, why would it make sense for Fox? The numbers don't add up. Even Maidana, who is more sellable, didn't get that kind of money from the PPV queen.

Maidana fought Floyd on PPV. What does this have to do with him?

Who is working together to spite Hearn? Where are you going with these conspiracy theories?

Other than Floyd can you name another fighter whose purses were paid by the network for a PPV fight? PPV fights are usually run by the promoter with the promoter footing the cost for everything. Including those 24/7 shows HBO used to do.
