20 Floyd excuses for not fighting Pac

I don't really have an opinion on who ducked who with these guys, but I do remember Floyd pushing for Olympic style drug testing, right upto the day of the fight and Manny refusing this because he was afraid of needles and then later, that he felt like blood samples weakened him. I do remember thinking he had a hell of a lot of tattoos for somebody who has a phobia of needles.Comment

I just answered that, just maybe not in exact way you wanted...I think the fair solution was whatever they had done prior...why do anything special for that fight...if the usual time was 30 days or whatever it was, then no 14 days was not really a fair offer imho.Comment

I don’t remember any contract being signed...the 2 sides couldn’t even agree on terms, why would there be a contract?Comment

Nice try. 30 days wasn't the usual time of anything. That was what Pacquiao pulled out of his ass. So now that we know that wasn't what the usual time was
You are actually going on record stating that a 14 day cut off for drug testing is unfair to the boxers? Is that your statement?
If so, cong**** on one of the dumbest things I've ever seen here that was meant to be taken seriously.Comment

I think he's referring to this.
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao nearly agreed to a 2010 fight, documents show
A contract sent on Dec. 11, 2009, by Golden Boy Promotions on behalf of Mayweather to Top Rank on behalf of Pacquiao proposed a 50-50 financial split between the sides for a fight that would have been held March 13, 2010.
The eight-page agreement is so detailed that it indicates which of the two fighters would step onto the scale first at the weigh-in (Pacquiao), who would walk to the ring first (Pacquiao), who would be introduced first (Mayweather) and who had first choice of the locker room (Mayweather).

What are you talking about...I said if the usual time was 30 days, then do that....I said to stick with whatever the usual time was, which wasn't 14 days...looks like you are having some trouble reading tonight.Nice try. 30 days wasn't the usual time of anything. And no I think guys should be tested right after the fight...and a at different points leading up the fight, multiple times...whatever is the best way to do that, I am not an expert...but it should be done often and leading up to the fight, and evenly for both guys, and safely so as to not take anything out of either guy...and also done right after the fight.
Since you are such a genius and claiming there is a standard testing schedule for all fighters with regards to testing...why don't you enlighten us on that process Mr Genius?Comment

There was no usual time, which is why Pacquiao was tested 24 days before Hatton, and if I remember correctly, a couple of days before Morales.
So now that you know that wasn't the usual time, what do you think
Trust me, I have much more knowledge about this than you, who didn't even know about the whole drug testing protocol being the reason for the fight being iced. You knew absolutely **** all and you tried your best to claim you are unbiased when it's clear how hurt your feelings are just because Pacquiao's team ran away from this fight.
Don't blame me. Blame 14 days for the reason your boy didn't want that "$50 million" according to you
But we know. According to you, 14 days to recover from giving 2tbsps of blood was just too damn hard
Go to bed.Comment

Dude I promise you I have like 0 emotion about any of this...and seeing you respond like your life is at stake with every post is strange...now you're posting these laughey face emojis...I mean it's pretty obvious who is all worked up about this and has an axe to grind. And I just told you that 30 days wasn't the "usual time."

And you're talking all over the place and kind of nonsensical as well...Manny wasn't tested 24 days before the Hatton fight...he was caught giving blood 24 days before the Hatton fight...you don't even know what you're talking about man.
And yeah any one with cursory knowledge knew that the drug testing stuff was part of why the fight didn't go off...I just said I wasn't a floyd or Pac fan so I haven't studied every he said she said that has happened...it is of no interest to me.
I am just a smart, logical person...so I'm able to analyze stuff pretty easily once most of the facts are out...and for a guy who swears that 14 days is some fair number, while admitting you have no idea of how testing works for fights, while in another line claiming to be an expert on all this stuff...I mean you just don't really have any credibility my friend.
You just come across as a very rabid Floyd fan who wants to defend him at every turn here and on every issue, even if there is nuance there and even if you don't really know what you're talking about.
But keep doing you man, I'm sure you're convincing someone with your biased emotional rants, even if it is just yourself

Are you slow?????
What do you think he was giving blood for? A blood drive?
Jesus Christ.
Pacquiao's Blood Test Was 24-Days Before Hatton Bout
BoxingScene.com has received a copy of document outlining Manny Pacquiao's blood test; taken for his May 2 fight with Ricky Hatton. The blood test was taken by Quest Diagnostics on April 8, 2009, which is 24-days before the fight with Hatton. The latest discovery punches holes in some of the stories that claim Pacquiao took a blood test "14-days" before the Hatton fight. The footage of the blood test [Pacquiao/Hatton 24/7] may have aired 14-days before the fight, but actual test was taken on April 8.
