Out of his own mouth Floyd said he "marinated" the fight. We all know what that means. Yet these guys seem to insist that it was just one side of the fence

That right there is the point, bro.

He claimed to need 24 days to recover, the compromise offered was 14 days, and he said no.

And remember, his opponent would be placed under the same "stress," but the point is 14 days was certainly reasonable.

Dude, do you actually think I was trying to change your mind? Honestly, I just wanted a good laugh after you avoid the question, which you predictably did.

This topic is particularly hurtful for you I guess because you've been humiliated for your posts about Mayweather for...years is it? I don't think anyone really takes you seriously, in all honesty. Sorry but it's the way it really is, bro.

I admit I was never a huge fan or follower of Floyd or Manny...so I don't claim to know all the BS and details and what each side said about each little thing and delay...my point about randomly drawing blood was in reference to the fact that if there was something in a contract about some commission being able to randomly draw blood at multiple various times in the lead up to the fight.

Well yeah I can understand why someone wouldn't want to deal with that when they are training for a fight...and the biggest fight of their life...mandating that blood testing when surely there are other ways of testing for PEDs...I mean it just seems to me, an outside observer, as a way for Floyd to delay and get out of the fight.

Sure, Manny could have done everything that Floyd wanted at that time, and even then I am not sure if he would have gotten the fight...I think what is going on here is Floyd was setting a lot of traps (as he was great as doing in the ring) to get Manny to step into one and make it seem like Manny didn't want the fight...when in reality I don't think that Floyd would have wanted that fight at that time, no matter what....he was making too much money fighting other guys and Manny was a risk.

Floyd could fight other guys for similar money to Pac...Pac would have made tons more money fighting Floyd than he ever had...that's all I really need to know as far as who was really wanting the fight at that time.

It is like the Canelo-GGG stuff in recent times...GGG of course wanted that fight for forever because it was a change from $4 million max per fight to $20 million minimum...Canelo could make $20 million fighting anyone and maybe $40 million fighting GGG at that time...so I can see why he wouldn't want to risk that fight with GGG until he was really ready.

Not to mention that if you fought Floyd - at worst you go 12 rounds and lose...and that is usually what happened, for sure...but it's not like you were fighting Mike Tyson in his prime and had to fear for your life!!

So yeah I don't claim to be an expert in all of that stuff with Floyd and Pac...but I don't really see how people can really claim it was Manny that didn't want it...I mean who would not want that fight in his position? The pay increase would have been incredible for him.

But this is all based on your speculation about Floyd's thoughts.

It's actually pretty simple. Floyd wasn't dictating to Pacquiao. Pacquiao agreed to do random testing, so they had to set the protocol. Of course it would be full random, but Pacquiao wanted no testing for 30 days! If I remember correctly, it was then that Mayweather agreed to compromise and said, Ok, let's just make it 14 days. Pacquiao then says, nope...24 days (and only because they busted him giving blood 24 days before the Hatton fight).

We all know by now that these fights have no cut-off when blood testing is being done. We also know that Pacquiao went on to fight others and himself demand drug testing that would have the no cut-off protocol, and that they did eventually fight with no cut off.

So that tells me Pacquiao was wrong. And whether he legitimately thought he needed a whopping 24 days to recover from giving blood (which is asinine) or whether he just wanted to avoid the fight, he was clearly in the wrong and he clearly held up the fight over such a ridiculous requirement. There's simply no way to hold Mayweather responsible for Pacquiao believing that he needs 24 days to recover from giving 2 tbsps of blood.

All you have to do is admit that a 14 day cut-off was a more than fair offer, which we clearly know today. Once that is established, the "Floyd avoided Pac" scenario all falls apart.

And remember, they were actually in negotiation with a mediator over this issue. It's not like Pac could say, OK, 14 days it is, and then Mayweather can say...u know what...0 days. He would have been roasted for that. There was a contract that was already signed. There was a mediation where the 14 days was offered, and Pac said he wouldn't budge because he needed 24 days to recover from giving 2 tbsps of blood. I mean, that's what it is!

Bro...as I said, there were about $50 million reasons for Pac to want that fight...until you can explain that away, everything else again is just semantics...you can point to little stuff here and there...but again as a fairly neutral party, Pac ducking Floyd just makes 0 sense...that was the big money fight!! Everyone wanted that fight...and we also know that Floyd liked to get everything on his terms in a fight.

If he wanted to fight Pac in a somewhat fair scenario in 2009 or whatever the fu.ck it was..it would have happened...there is just nothing that seems to exist that would change that really...I am an honest person and open to different opinions...but the insistence that Manny somehow wanted out of that fight at that time...I mean it just makes 0 sense man...but again I don't really give a sh.it anyway.

Btw I should have known your logic was off...I just saw your sig quote Kerr is such a clown lol.

It can easily be explained. Arum wanted to keep milking Pac vs. his Top Rank stable so Arum can make more money, Pac never stood up to Arum at that time, and Arum knew enough to know that Pac would lose to Floyd and that would affect his money.

                That's the reality.

But you are still refusing the facts that even Freddie Roach admits to. The blame for the fight falling apart is mostly on Pac's side because what caused the fight to fall apart is him refusing to accept the fight due to the belief that he needed a whopping 24 days to recover from giving 2tbsps of blood. I don't know why you guys won't address this.

What does Steve Kerr being a clown have to do with this?

Can you answer the question that others wouldn't? Was 14 days a fair offer for a cut off or no?

You seem really invested in this man...I don't really care lol...you're asking attempted gotcha questions that aren't relevant anyway...a good point about Arum and Pac for sure...but to swear that Floyd wanted that fight and Pac didn't...just makes no sense man...not with everything we know about both fighters and those circumstances.

The point about Steve Kerr was a joke since the quote in your sig is eye-roll worthy...so I was ribbing you about that, that if you like that quote/guy then your logic is off, as it is here with the Pac/Floyd debate.

Can you answer a question that others wouldn't? Do you have definitive proof that Floyd wanted the fight while Manny didn't? That's how your questions sound man...you can keep defending Floyd here if you want to, I don't really care about it man.

Floyd didn’t want that fight at that time. That’s it. There’s no mystery to it.
