GIF : Canelo countering and neutralizing Kov's right hand

Lots of right hands thrown by Kovalev in that gif. And Canelo made him pay for it lots of times.

I don't think any of us can really appreciate how hard these guys hit. Look at Canelo's opponents and their change in style as an example. We hadn't seen GGG fight off the back foot in years, he was the ultimate pressure fighter and when Canelo came at him, he decided to change his tactics. We haven't seen Kovalev throw in that timid fashion before either, but he was clearly putting less into his punches, so he could reel his arms back in quickly, avoiding the fast counters from Canelo.

I know it's only a GIF, but I think it highlights and perhaps serves as a reminder how even a few seconds of action, can change the course of a 12 (11 in this case) round fight. And Canelo is putting everything into some of those counters btw
