    Hagler fought other ATG’s.

GGG ducked Lara, is ducking Andrade, ducking Charlo, lost to Canelo, should’ve lost to Jacobs. Should’ve lost to 14 fight having Derevyanchenko.

GGG and Hagler can’t be put in the same sentence.

Most people don't need hours of rumination to see that.

HBO's demise was because of disrespecting the integrity of daring to be great and only focused on making subs, all company men. If HBO employees of all sorts cared, they would've been pressuring GGG to fight Ward long ago or Canelo when he was at 154.

Loeffler even went lengths to create ''Mexican style'' with Abel and the whole Californian audience bought it, taking MExican-American fight fans for a ride.

GGG was a successful marketing proxy to beat Mexican boxers, so you have other fans from various backgrounds whom loved the idea. I mean why does GGG GLoveking, Kafkod or W1LL love GGG so much? I assure you they don't look like Kid Galahad
i totally agree that HBO had alot to do with it...they loved paying him to knock out guys like curtis stevens...a guy who had lost to marcos primera and jesse brinkley.......they never once demanded him do something....just simply whipped out the checkbook for whatever fight they wanted and lead everyone to believe he was some machine....

barely a single major media outlet called him out for not fighting ward.....if you flip flop them the media would have killed ward if he tried avoiding that and had the lacking resume golovkin had

hbo loved the idea that they were selling a pale, middleweight, manny pacquiao to the audience....

It took you hours to come to that? How about golovkin is a dedicated professional and choose to stay at 160 as he trains religiously and like mayweather and many others before him has no issue making Weight in his given weight class.

He also turned pro at 24 so he was pretty much at his natural weight. If you look at his early fights he was not a big middleweight. He's filled out but even some JM are bigger than him.

Every elite boxer, including the ATGs, fought no-hope opponents in between their big fights.

If he was truly great; he would have went to 168 and destroyed Ward, and the other champs at that weight, then moved up to 175 and done the same. This will always be an asterick to GGG, moving up would cement his legacy. It's too bad as an old man, his time in boxing is nearly at an end.
Hagler unified all the belts, something GGG failed to do. Hagler also beat ARGUABLY one of the top 10 ATG in Sugar Ray LEONARD. Hagler is at a high level of boxing.
Its time to school another liar.

                    1. You don't need to move up in weight classes to be great. Marvin Hagler never did. He's great. Carlos Monzon never moved up in weight. He's great. Bernard Hopkins was great even before he moved up. Moving up isn't necessarily a real attempt to be great if you're not taking on the toughest guys in those new divisions. A lot of these multi-weight champions become that way by fighting the weakest available belt holder.

                    2. This Andre Ward nonsense needs to stop. When were they going to fight? GGG only made his HBO debut in late 2012 a mere week before Andre Ward fought Chad Dawson. Andre Ward then started getting into his problems with his promoter. He wouldn't fight again until 14 months later when he fought Edwin Rodriguez. That was the last time he made 168. He didn't get into the boxing ring again until June 2015 when he fought Paul Smith. By that point GGG had become the mandatory for a belt held by Miguel Cotto and then Canelo Alvarez. That situation wasn't resolved until Canelo dumped the belt after the Amir Khan fight rather than fight GGG. That was May 2016. At that point, Andre Ward would have been GGG's next best shot at a high profile fight. But by March 2016, Andre Ward had already made the permanent move up to 175 when he fought Sullivan Barrera. The fact of the matter is that for much of GGG's rise, Andre Ward was busy with a promotional dispute and GGG was busy pursuing a much bigger and more high profile fight.

                    3. Hagler fought Sugar Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns. Those guys moved up to fight him. Bernard Hopkins fought Tito Trinidad and Oscar De LaHoya. Those guys moved up to fight him. GGG's versions of those guys were Miguel Cotto and Canelo Alvarez. Cotto ducked him but eventually GGG got his chance at Canelo. While I think he should have won the first fight and admit he lost the rematch the fact remains both fights were close and competitive.

                    4. Bernard Hopkins, who we all agree is a great fighter, didn't move up in weight until he was 41 years old. GGG is only 37 right now. If he moves up in 2020 (which I think he'll do in a last ditch attempt to get the trilogy fight with Canelo) GGG would 3 years younger than Hopkins when Hopkins moved up.

Why do you keep spreading that Andre Ward nonsense? I have already debunked that in a debate with you.
