Two reasons.
The most common one being that they are biased and more fan of a promoter, fighter, or nationality; and most likely Wilder's not a part of 'Their Group' or his actions wen counter to 'Their Group'.
The less common, and somewhat understandable one, is they recognize with the plethora of belts and sanctioning organizations one could avoid the top competition by sticking to their mandatories. For example- neither Ruiz or Joshua are in the top 15 in WBC rankings but I doubt anyone here thinks that there are 15 heavyweights better than them. Since boxing is so fractured one could feasibly get an easier path by sticking to his mandatories.
Now I am not writing Wilder fits into the second category, and I do applaud the principles of defending your belt as he is doing. But with so many sanctioning bodies out there, this ideal doesn't always play out as it should (as it would if there were only 1 belt).
The business of boxing further ruining the sport of boxing.Comment

Lol. A little research goes a long way. 1st it was jennings. Jennings gave up his spot to fight wlad. Making way for povetkin vs perez for the spot. Povetkin ko'd him in one round and said he wanted his shot immediately. Wilder brought up drug testing.....suddenly povetkin wasnt ready for a year. Only to test dirty when he got his shot. Not only that, he tested dirty again the same year before his interim bout with stiverne. Making stiverne #1. Stiverne was suppose to fight breazeale for the spot. But stiverne got the wilder fight instead. Leaving breazeale in position to fight for the mandatory. So out of all of this......how do find any of this to be the fault of wilder??? Oh yeah, whyte was only #1 contender. When did he fight for a mandatory spot???He expanded due mandatories. He didn't duck any mandatory because they weren't made besides Povetkin and currently whyte so that leaves to question where was the other mandatories since 2015 ? Aare you really telling me Stiverne out for 2 years isn't throwing a red flag here because that was his 2nd one ? Breazeale was his 3rd so I guess you can count that even though he was skipped as well for fury ? HaComment

Dillian would last 30 seconds against Wilder. Would love to see that fight.
But Dillian will run if he gets an offer, just like he ran twice from signed guaranteed title shots againt AJ this year alone.
Theres a good reason Dillian only fights no names like "Oscar Rivas", and 40 year old bouncers like "Lucas Browne". While running from Ortiz and Parker and any other top 10 guy.Comment

no. thats a feeling.
here are some facts:
whyte refused his IBF eliminator for AJ and his WBC eliminator for wilder.
whyte just now became WBC mandatory by beating oscar rivas.Comment

If you cant respect this decision you are not a real boxing fan. We just saw Canelo and Loma request the franchise title to avoid fighters in line to fight them.Comment
