Whyte was put on ***** Street by Parker and Rivas - who are the heavyweight power equivalent of Paulie Malignaggi. And this was all juiced up! Guy barely won when cheating. And Matchroom employees on this site think this serial cheater, who turned down a final eliminator with Ortiz, would best wilder? That’s some mighty fine hashish you be smoking. And rewarding cheaters who conspire to hide the facts of their dirty test is not good sporting

      Wilder is absolutely right.

You take something away from boxing when you deny a mandatory challenger the right to win his belt in a ring against the champion.

This was a colossal fuck up of an invention by the WBC and Sulaiman.

Not the only belt the Bronze ducker shot down is it. He turned down all the other belts too. Apparently he got offered them all if he could beat AJ easy, thats Anthony Joshua who Wilder and all his fans say he beats easy cuz Joshua is a fake fraud hype job. He also got offered career changing money to do it. Maybe hes just happy with cherries defending his green one.

There are so called boxing " fans" who would criticize Wilder whether or not he accepted the title of franchise champ. It's called being a hater. The champ should be commended for his stance on this one!

                  hmm

"[Canelo] chooses who he wants to fight and if you don’t want to see him fight, don’t watch, don’t cover his fights and don’t go to his fights. That’s my position. Now I don’t think they should make franchise willy nilly , but Canelo deserves the franchise tag... [He deserves it because of his body of work and because he’s the only friggin’ fighter in that division who can move the needle,” Arum said.

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn stood beside Arum as he said this and quickly interrupted him by asking about one of Arum's fighters Vasiliy Lomachenko. In regards to Lomachenko potentially getting the honor should he beat Luke Campbell to win the vacant WBC lightweight title in August, Arum said the three-division champion still doesn't warrant getting the same honor as Alvarez did, at least not yet.

“Lomachenko doesn’t deserve it yet. He has two belts. Hopefully if the BBBofC doesn’t interfere, he’ll have three belts and then he’ll fight the [Richard] Commey-Teofimo Lopez [winner] and he’ll have four belts. Then, hopefully,Mauricio Sulaiman makes him franchise champion,” Arum said.

Lomachenko currently holds the WBA and WBO titles and a win over Campbell on August 31 in London would put him one title away from being called the undisputed champion. The last remaining belt is the IBF title being held by Commey, who is likely facing Lopez next.

That was in July. So Top Rank didn't request it. Mauricio Sulaiman awarded it to Loma, but Arum wasn't for it until after the fourth belt was won. Loma was going to fight Commey or Teo winner and then be deserving of the title. Loma's plan all along was to win the 3rd belt and then fight the winner of Commey and Teo, which he is still doing. Nothing has changed with who he was going to fight. But he won't be forced to fight the Crolla's as mandatories anymore. And he has already stated day after he was awarded the franchise champion title, that besides the winner of Commey and Teo he wants to fight Tank and Haney in 2020. That's the farthest from ducking I've ever heard. And when Loma says it take it to the bank. He's a man of few words but you know he means it when he says it. The fighters he has fought says it all. Nothing has changed in who Loma wants to face, the best. So, who really benefited? Haney of course. He got the belt that Loma won. But the idea is not to duck mandatories but to avoid the crap mandatories and set up the best against the best, the fights everyone wants to see, instead of cans who beat nobodies to get there. The Crolla fight as a mandatory really pissed off Loma. He wanted the Haney's of the world and not the Crollas. The true tests. Even though Haney is the fight that Loma wants, Haney fought crap in his pro career. It's just you can tell Haney is going places so that's the fight to prove himself against. That is a worthy fight to make. But do not get fooled by the record and how he has done it. Haney has fought absolute garbage, Zero Five Star Fighters. Count them.

Zero. No wonder he shines. He's fighting cans. Loma fought Nine Five Star Fighters in 15 fights. Remarkable. Tank fought crap too, one five star. But you won't see Tank face Haney. Both don't want to tarnish against each other. It's a farce.

                  Loma Tank

                    lol

No one is offering Wilder the Franchise designation. And he seems too dumb to know what it is. Uh. What is it? No clarity or context. It allows the best fighters to fight the best fighters and not be forced to fight the ****ty mandatories that have no draw. It's the only reason and it only goes to those that prove they will fight the best. Loma has the best first 15 fight opponents' record in the history of boxing. And stated right after he was awarded the Franchise designation he wants Haney and Tank in 2020 after his Commey/Teo fight. That is three dream fights lined up if Tank will only stop running and if Haney is serious. But Loma won't be forced to fight the Crolla's of the world. That's the point.

But serial fight duckers are fine? 5 years as champion whilst avoiding all world class fighters.
Pretending Ortiz is a top level heavyweight and repeatedly fighting him is bs.
He's fought Fury, Ortiz and a bunch of nobodies since becoming champion.

He'll look far better on paper in the history books than he ever deserves to.
