i think he is goin gto be very tough to beat. he throws very hard and accurate punches. I'd like to see him in there with Cotto, or Hatton. Also Stevie still has a few years in him. I'd like to see stevie at 135 and more than 2 weeks to train

johnston wouldnt have beaten harris..johnston best weight was 135 and he could never punch

Harris can beat Cotto. He shouldn't be favored, and Cotto is at 147 now so it will never happen anyway.

At 147 Harris would lose to Hatton, Margarito, etc. At 140 he is a pretty good fighter and has a shot to win a title or two. He needs to keep that cool head though. He gets too wound up.

Harris beat a blown up 135 pounder. Johnston had balls though, and he made the fight interesting. I could see my self liking Harris if he wasnt such a loud mouth ignorant ****.

Had he beeen 5 yrs younger he might have won that fight. He stunned Harris a few times. He took the fight on 2 weeks notice, was in a car wreck, and dang near 40 yrs old. For Harris to be considered top teir he should have dominated and won in no less than 3 rds. Harris lost props last night IMO.

if the original fight had have gone down, mighty mike would've stopped Harris in the late rounds. harris has no control over his adrenaline, and always has a adrenline dump. had he been in with a guy like mike, a guy that hits harder and has sharper skills, harris would've gased and got ko'ed again. this is especially true when harris stops boxing and starts swinging for the fences.

mighty mike is the type of fighter that would do some toe to toe action and have a better gas tank than harris, and i would go so far to say that arnaoutis has a better chin than harris. arnaoutis took urango's punches and walked through them. although his face grets red like a drunks' face, but the boy is pasty what do you expect.

i will give harris a bit of credit he does have a sharp right hand punch, right from the shoulder and it comes with speed and accuracy. but harris goes right hand crazy so you know what he is going to do before he does it. he might be able to hit a smaller more older and seasoned veteran like johnston, but a young slick top prospect or a top ten guy would beat harris or give harris a hard time, with the right amount of training.

back in the day i thought harris had a chance to be a good solid champ, at this point in time i think all he has a little bit better than average punchers chance.

put him in with a fair matchup and more than likely harris will fade in the mid to late rounds and get stopped again.

I don't know why everyone is saying Harris only has a righthand. Everytime he threw the righthand he either hurt or dropped Johnston. Harris was busting Johnston up with that righthand.

So what else was he supposed to use?

Jab, circle the ring, show good defense.

The Harris fight had to be better than the Jones fight, which I didn't watch.....
