exactly. augustus would have been able to take everything he had to throw. if augustus shows up in non-clown mode he'd knock vivian harris (the version of him i just watched tonight at least) out late.

Harris has serious skills when he wants to use them. His nerves are his problem. If he calms himself down I think he can hold his own with the top level fighters.

He appeared to want to use his jab but after he knocked Johnston down he went for the knockout.

Seconded. Also, I didn't see the interview with Stevie because about 3/4 of the way through the Harris interview I honestly couldn't listen to it anymore so I changed channels. What'd they say/do?

I hope Harris steps up against a big named opponent so he can lose. Hell, Collazo could use him as a tune up fight of sorts to further his name and then get another shot at a title he deserves.

All Harris had was, throw the right hand when Johnston jabs. Throw it when Johnston throws a left, throw it when Johnston comes in. All he has is a decent right hand he could land easily against a guy 6 inches shorter than him, washed up, and in a weight class he should be at, that took the fight on short notice. Cong****.

Im suprised Harris stopped him so early. I figured Johnson was crafty enough to last alot longer.

I'm a Harris fan. The only one

I dont know why, but I think the dude has potential if he calmed his nerves and settled down and just used that jab (he has a very good one, in fact) to set up the huge power that he has in his right hand.

Kid has a nice, long right hand but that's about all. I cannot see him beating guys like Castillo, Hatton, Lazcano, etc. He was on his way to overexerting himself again but Johnston is too hittable these days and didn't have the power to trouble Viv.

He also gave one of the most insanely annoying post-fight ints I've seen in awhile. Nobody cares about his team.
LOL, **** was hilarious, he beat a 135 pd fighter and everybody seems to give him a chance to dominate the 140 weight class. Do they know Hatton and Castillo are coming over?

Harris can't take a good punch, I don't see him lasting long with anyone that can punch. I was never high on Harris and this fight didn't change my mind.
I new that weaks ago and steve took the fight with onlt like 3 weeks. I don't think steve can be a player anymore, but he is still my boy and gave some great fights.
