He was given the franchise belt in order to have a layer of protection between himself and Charlo. Its bull*****. The franchise belt situation is all bull**** even with Loma. But as long as Loma fights quality guys (looks like he'll be facing the Commey/Lopez winner next) I am ok with it. That isn't what Canelo is doing because Canelo is a *****.


First of all, I do have a problem with Haney not getting a shot at Loma or the vacant belt. I think if he was going to get screwed out of a shot for the vacant belt he should still be allowed to have the mandatory position. Hopefully, Loma will give him a chance. Secondly, Luke Campbell was ranked higher in the WBC rankings than Haney at the time so if Loma was going to get the shot its right that Campbell should get the shot before Haney.

Kovalev is washed up. He was a whopping 4-3 in his previous 7 including 2 KO losses. One of those wins came against a green as grass young guy (who had him hurt) who doesn't belief in sparring in preparation for a fight. I respect what Kovalev accomplished throughout his career but this wasn't a prime Kovalev. This was an I want to cash out before I retire Kovalev.

You can never be considered FOTD if youv've taken PED's at any point. FOTD should be Manny or Loma. Loma is a generational fighter who out skills, thinks and blows away competition. Canelo fights are nearly always close or involve controversy of some sort.

As for Beterbiev vs Canelo... Artur would absolutely iron out ginger boy. Hes much stronger and would be bullying Canelo on the inside not to mention smashing his body to pieces with collosal power shots before going upstairs for the KO. Theres a reason Beterbiev has a 100% KO rate - he hits like a fooking truck but Canelo is fully aware of this so will never fight him until maybe he loses two or more fights by KO.

Anyone who signs up for the super 6 tournaments are taking more risks than Canelo. Anyone who is trying to unify and hold belts are taking more risks than Canelo.

Canelo pretty much unified 60...was about to go after andrade but IBF stripped him forcing him to fight devrychenko who priced himself out wanting 15m....dont forget about that part

Dont forget to mention that the ward kovalev 1 fight most people believed ward lost that fight and was gifted a decision. Also ward kov 2 the judges had kov up on 1 card until the controversial low blows dont forget that part. Also dont forget to mention elediar alvarez did ko kovalev but kovalev rematched him immediately and beat him....some could argue kovalev technically was undefeated but I wont go that far kovalev was not the same krusher as prior to ward 2 fight but was still a big threat to canelo who had to fight very cautiously in order to not get caught with a huge shot that could have slept the naturally smaller guy. Give canelo credit even if you hate him it was a calculated risk but still a risk.
