I had Kovalev winning before he got brutally iced by that nasty combination

ginger is a total midget at LHW, he shouldn't fight there anymore

he was lucky Kovalev is washed up and chinny

but still a great W for Bossnelo all things considered

I don't want to sound a hater but this fight is highly su****ious. Have have Kovalev winning a shutout and was looking so physically imposing over Canelo and not breathing even so hard in the late stage of the fight and all of the sudden, he got got hit with nonsense punches and knocked out. Knowing the history of corruption in boxing over the decades, I'm not surprised at all if this was a legitimate fix.

Also I read celebrated figures like Dan Rafael from ESPN, talking about how Canelo should be considered P4P #1 after this fight, maybe he also forgot Canelo was a 5-1 favorite for a reason? or a several 0 check can from GBP can make all theses boxing scribes biased?

Let me know what do you think...

Anyone who thinks that the fight was fixed has no clue about boxing, too many ****** threads like this here. It was obvious after a few rounds what Canelo's plan was and that was to wear K down and then pop him. Which is exactly what happened. Those two punches (why do I even have to say this, geez) were real as can be, anyone who thinks they weren't should go back to watching cartoons.

i never watched the fight because it was fixed..

if it wasn't fixed in one way, it was fixed in another way.

i knew it was all fixed from the announcement and was 100% convinced when the payment structure was released.

i knew it was fixed when the bookies had Canelo at a $1.10 favourite (you bet $1 and you get 10c).... how is that possible for a fighter "risking it and going up 2 weight classes".

I had Krusher ahead 7-3 at the time of the KO.

Kovalev was NEVER going to win a decision. That's why he was a 5-1 favorite; bookies aren't ****** and they are in on the deal.

Don't believe me? Take a look at Dave Moretti's card. He had Canelo winning the first two rounds; those were rounds were Canelo did absolutely nothing.

As they say...it was written in the stars.

The scorecards tell the usual tale for Canelo fights...

Kovalev IMO was ahead after 10. Can't argue about the KO...it was the dramatic ending Canelo needed but the decision was decided before the fight was made.

So the boxingscene census is that:

                  1. Kovalev was winning comfortably at the time of the stoppage.

                  2. The fight was scripted.

                  3. Canelo was also on PED’s, for the the scripted fight.

Nice to know I come to a forum full of dumb asses like you all. I guess that makes me just as dumb

                    Except Kovalev was not winning.

Absolutely zero effective aggression from Kovalev. Getting backed up by a Middleweight while throwing nothing but flicking jabs. That’s not how you win rounds. Most of you don’t know what to watch for when scoring rounds. Which is why you’re all so puzzled as to why literally every judge usually favors Canelo. It’s easier to give Canelo the rounds because he’s aggressive, throws power punches, and avoids getting hit as much as possible. It’s very simple. But it’s not so simple for many of you. It’s actually sad to watch how clueless most people are about scoring fights.

As Mooshashi said in the post prior to mine...

Dave Moretti's card had Canelo winning the first two rounds; those were rounds were Canelo did absolutely nothing.
Canelo backed up pretty much as often if not more than Kovalev who controlled the distance. Obviously the judges had it closer than you think...but if those first 2 rounds where Canelo did absolutely nothing were scored by Moretti as they should have been for Kovalev (which I doubt even you won't argue) that alone would have changed the scorecards even at the end of 10. Only you seem to think differently and I'm not really swayed by your opinion...you are entitled to it but don't call the entire board ****** for not agreeing with you.
