Was Kovalev winning or was the fight fixed?

So did you have Kovalev winning the fight before the KO or was it a fixed fight? Or both? The fight was fixed AND Kovalev was winning?

Or maybe the agreement was that Canelo allows Kovalev to win on points until the 11th round, and then Kovalev needs to open himself up for Canelo’s power punches? Right?

Why didn’t Gatti, another fighter McGirt trained, threw virtually no power punches at Mayweather either? He just jabbed, jabbed, jabbed and the few times he tried anything else, he got caught. What is it with McGirt fighters and the jab obsession? And McGirt fighters being in on fixed fights?

Kovalev was winning without ever getting out of first gear. Canelo was struggling with the size and natural strength of Kovalev, but didn't seem worried about how the rounds would be scored. Went to the body early then started headhunting. It paid off as we saw, but even if it hadn't he would have got the decision on the judges' cards.

I saw Canelo walking kov back the way home fight. I don’t think kov size was a an issue.

Had kov ahead by a round Max 2.

I feel like against anyone not named Canelo, Kov could have won this fight behind his "pitty pat" jab on the cards. Fight was close imo.

i had kovalev winning easily 6-4 or 7-3. i don't believe the ko was fake or rigged. i do believe very strongly that canelo was heavily on steroids. how come canelo has not been able to come close to ko'ing a legitimate middleweight or anyone good, but now all of a sudden can ko a light heavyweight like its nothing?????? steroids.

It is pretty hilarious that even with all the holding back Kovalev did, he was still winning the fight. That's all with the jab, and not jabs to do damage like in his last fight when he literally KO'd a LHW KO-artist with a jab. But really even by refraining from any power punches or combinations, with the soft offense to make Canelo look competitive, it still wasn't competitive untill Canelo signaled the final stage of the fix. Very hard to make it look convincing to intelligent people when you got a naturally much bigger, better fighter pretending to be inferior.
