Kovalev has the worst punch resistance for an "elite" fighter I've seen. Once he takes that stutter step it's over.

The KO was legit but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out Kovalev's strategy. I can understand him taking a little off his punches to conserve his energy but at some point he had to step on the gas. He never did. There was no way he would've won in Vegas if he didn't get knocked out.

I thought Canelo would win so no surprise here. It was a good win but considering the circumstances it doesn't move the needle for me in terms of Canelo's greatness.
