You have to have Canelo P4P #1 atm, he's just doing more than anyone else.
Staged as in Kovalev deciding not to put any power into his jabs or other punches from the very first bell.

He didn't 'decide' not to put any power on them and you don't know what kind of power they had on them anyway, you weren't the one getting punched in the face. Kovalev has been fighting for over 2 decades, I'm sure if it was easy as following some boxingscene poster's advice, he would do it.

Canelo is a top level fighter you don't want to be eating too many counters from. Kovalev in general isn't too hard to discourage for a world level fighter, I told you a few weeks ago he can't take shots upstairs when everyone was talking about the body.

Kovalev was winning anyway imo so 'staging' the fight by not fighting the way you wanted him to fight, was actually winning him the fight. Sometimes you just have to accept your L like a man and give ginger some credit.

All sorts of anomalous things happened but Kovalev offering Canelo his chin was most telling.

I gave Canelo all the credit because he did what he had to do. I'm just not convinced he was doing it against a 100% Kovalev.

He was winning the fight with his strategy. Are you saying they staged it so he would be winning?

              yup,

these dudes are beyond pathetic, they hate Canelo so much they rather claim some damn conspiracy theory, throw the fighter they were rooting for under the bus than to man it up and just give Canelo his props.

He was winning it because Canelo was the smaller man. But where the hell was his power? What was wrong with his jabs? Zero power, zero explosiveness, and all that from the very opening bell.

Yo I dunno what to say. I really don't. I will be the first to tell people calling fights staged is corny. But I've watched this fight 3x and I dunno wtf I was watching. Everything just seems off. I've watched hundreds of fights and I've never seen a bigger guy fight scared of the smaller guy and virtually let himself be knocked out like that. Never seen it. Kovalev has never fought this way. Game plan or no, you ALWAYS revert to what you know sooner or later.
