    Ah I got you.

Here we go with the fake outrage from the poorly informed boxing fans. Kovalev's FIGHT NIGHT weight Vs. Eider Alvarez 2 was 180lbs and his weight for the Yarde fight was 183.5. This rehydration clause will have ZERO effect on Kovalev. He completely changed his diet when he switched to McGirt. Here is a video from Kovalev himself confirming it. Timestamped 2:22

Nah, we know. We also know Kov contending with a RC multiple times previously per IBF mandate is irrelevant here as this isn't an IBF title fight and the sole reason for its inclusion here is to put Kovalev at a disadvantage. Kov could have weighed ****ing 170 on fight night in his last five outings...that he has experience with this and may well not be markedly affected tomorrow is clearly beside the point. It's yet another Canelo asterisk. And less "outrage" and more an eyeroll, but hey.

Yeah, I thought he'd come down a bit. I never thought his style really benefitted from the extra weight he put on around the Hopkins / Pascal part of his career.

Yeah I know. Nobody will give him credit regardless if he wins.

Well who the hell put it in there since this is not an IBF title fight? You know damn well team Canelo put it in there so they lied when they said no weight draining. Big surprise. Fuc them. I hope Kovalev knocks him out.

If it doesn't matter and makes no difference then why put the morning weigh in clause in the contract at all?????? Team Canelo put it in there because they think it will help Canelo or they would not have put it in the contract. That's obvious and the only reason it could possibly be in the contract. Team Kovalev sure didn't ask for it. They put up with it to get the fight.
