Official rehydration clause of 185 for Kova vs Canelo. Does it matter?

Here we go with the fake outrage from the poorly informed boxing fans. Kovalev's FIGHT NIGHT weight Vs. Eider Alvarez 2 was 180lbs and his weight for the Yarde fight was 183.5. This rehydration clause will have ZERO effect on Kovalev. He completely changed his diet when he switched to McGirt. Here is a video from Kovalev himself confirming it. Timestamped 2:22

Well who the hell put it in there since this is not an IBF title fight? You know damn well team Canelo put it in there so they lied when they said no weight draining. Big surprise. Fuc them. I hope Kovalev knocks him out.Comment

If it doesn't matter and makes no difference then why put the morning weigh in clause in the contract at all?????? Team Canelo put it in there because they think it will help Canelo or they would not have put it in the contract. That's obvious and the only reason it could possibly be in the contract. Team Kovalev sure didn't ask for it. They put up with it to get the fight.Comment
