Great fight and effort by both men. I believe the verdict was close but just. It's just that Taylor wanted it a lot more than Prograis; Especially in the early rounds.

I don't believe that Regis was expecting a fight but boy did he get one. I thought Prograis may have underestimated Josh just a bit by being too overconfident.

All in all it was good and tactical fight. I think Taylor secured the win, by putting enough rounds in the bag early by getting his punches off first and beating Regis to the punch. While Prograis began his surge just a bit too late in the championship rounds.

WBSS doesn't do draws, man. They got a fourth judge as a tiebreaker (he scored it 116 - 112 to Taylor FWIW) and then countback if he sees it as a draw too.

EDIT: That said I'd like to see a rematch too, that was a real nice fight.

The was like a classic fight from back in the days. I expect both guys to continue to do well and meet again in the future
