Yep. One of those, we took it for granted situations.

Now I really look forward to the showtime boxing commentary and production.
Bernstein , Ranallo, Paulie are the best. Love their intro song and exit theme when showing highlights. Will watch showtime out fo the 3 tonight (SHOWTIME , DAZN, ESPN)

I hate the fact that HBO boxing is gone.

I wish some of the Showtimes guys like Paulie would leave.

I usually watch DAZN, but today I will be watching ESPN+

Paulie is currently the best commentator/analyst in the game. He and Al Bernstein make a great team.

          Ranallo sucks.

            What

I'm a little surprised that people don't recognize the high quality behind HBO's Production. But at the same time I'm not surprised due to the negative nature of the fans that follow boxing.

It's to bad to see HBO out of the game. Boxing has lost a bit of "Class" since its departure.

              I miss them.

Their 24/7 shows were exceptional and groundbreaking and also helped build some mega events. Broadcasters, in an ideal world, should take over promotors and that way we can get better fights and they can generate more revenue for themselves.

                “Foreigners”??
How do you explain the fact that guys like Wladimir, Calzaghe, Hatton, Joshua, Khan, etc make more money fighting in their countries than they do (or did) fighting in America?

Also, what exactly was HBO propaganda and how are foreign fighters bending the knee?
Your comment is laughable but maybe you can explain better?

I can understand your dislike of Paulie’s boxing career but what’s to dislike about him as an analyst?
Pauline is very astute, unbiased and very knowledgeable

HBO kept boxing afloat when no one else was giving it a second thought. As a boxing fan, I will not crap on that legacy. Boxing is actually thriving now that HBO has moved off of it. But Where would the sport be from the 80's until this era of streaming without HBO bridging that gap with huge coverage and pay-per-view backing?

I cancelled HBO a while back. Do not miss it. (Forced to turn it back on by the family for the train wreck that was the last season of Game of Thrones, though.) But I appreciate it and respect the legacy it left in this sport.
