Who comes on a boxing site and comments about a guy wearing sunglasses. This is the hurt business. As long as you show up and throw hands, you can wear whatever you want. Lame...douche...wanker...all childish name calling from so called fans who couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Commenting on the actual topic at hand has nothing to do with whether the commenter can 'fight their way out of a wet paper bag' or not.

From where I stand, if you wear sunglasses indoors and you've got perfectly good eyes, it's an affectation. If someone calls you out for wearing sunglasses indoors, you have to accept that's a natural consequence of your affectation.

Every article does not require comment. As a matter of fact, the lack of comments would discourage articles about sunglasses. Also...this is 2019. People wear sunglasses for fashion not just protection from the sun.

I'm not sure, man. Taylor is definitely a bit edgier by nature than Regis but you can't tell how that'll play in the ring... carrying nervous energy into the ring can be a boost but it can also lead to you burning energy unnecessarily. It ain't as simple as one being better than the other - lotta fighters say harnessing the nerves makes them perform better (and Cus D'amato extolled that idea) - but if I had to bet on two guys who are otherwise equal I'm leaning towards the more relaxed of the pair.

Great point Koba. Having a temper in the ring is never a good idea. Being tense or too worked up will deff burn energy and can also lead to mistakes like trying to fire back right away after taking a good shot and getting your bell rung. I have never been a huge fan of Toney, but he was one of the most natural fighters I have seen. He was so relaxed in the ring that he was able to go 12rds easy even when he was out of shape(which was a lot). Emotions are for training camp and are best left there.

Do not underestimate the power of psychology. Little things like that can matter in boxing. That's why we have staredowns and press conferences.

They all put their game face on for this reason before even getting in the ring.
