Does anyone else think Canelo is going to take an absolute beating against Kovalev?

I’m really torn on this fight. I’ve always felt like Canelos career would start to decline by age 30-31, but I’m not sure if Kov is the catalyst.

Now a days, it’s just hard to bet against Canelo. He’s the man and his experience in that ring is tremendous.

Kov is a strong puncher but he’s used to facing big guys as opponents with enough areas to hit. Canelo is likely faster than even the quickest 175lber. With that said, if Canelo can stay quick all night. He outboxes Kov. If he gets too tired, Kov has the ability to hit Canelo hard and frequently and cement his legacy in the sport.

Its a diasy match up, things could go wrong for canelo but its a fight am looking up to.
50/50 my prediction. It could go either way but if canelo make it past 12, hez obviously coming out victorious.

Speed kills. I see Canelo getting past Kovalev's jab to possibly even having Kovalev fighting backwards.

It will be brutal for Kovalev if he can't keep the distance between them.

I don't know what will happen, but what I do predict is that this fight will probably shave off a year or so from Canelo's career. That being said he better make it worth it by winning.

... I mostly like when Canelo's fans strongly pretend that there's any suspense in this fight... Kovalev will only take the shitload of money...

I have a feeling that Canelo is going to take an absolute beating. Weight classes exist for a reason. Massive respect to Canelo for taking this fight though with no catchweight and going to full 175. But this is going to get ugly
Yet people believe that Canelo will stop Kovalev, when Canelo just barely got past Jacobs at 160.

Canelo is a good fighter but the hype is reaching ****** levels.[/QUOTE]

People undermining the challenge and risk that Canelo is facing are ******... yet they support guys who hasn’t done anything near that.

Canelo took on a great climb and what i can do as a fan of the sport is support that move. even though i don’t like nelo much

At least with nelo he has actually the speed advantage over Kov.. smaller dudes who are climbing weight classes need to have that advantage over bigger guys. It’s a prerequisite if you wanna atleast have a decent chance.
Jacobs and GGG wont even have that over Kov albeit being smaller.. that’s why they’d have lesser chances
Mikey didn’t have that advantage over spence and look how embarassing that was.
