I have a feeling that Canelo is going to take an absolute beating. Weight classes exist for a reason. Massive respect to Canelo for taking this fight though with no catchweight and going to full 175. But this is going to get ugly
Kovalev will get his ass kicked. Golden boy ain't putting him in with someone who might beat the red out his hair. That's why he moved up rather than fight Andrade, charlo or Sergei derevychrnko. That's why when he moved up it was for Rocky felding and kovalev but not bivol, beterbiev, callum smith , David benevidez, Caleb plant, gilberto ramirez, Billy joe Saunders, olexander gvosk (however you spell his name).

Canelo is the cherry picking champion of the world.

Canelo is a good fighter but the hype is reaching ****** levels.
People undermining the challenge and risk that Canelo is facing are ******... yet they support guys who hasn’t done anything near that.

Canelo took on a great climb and what i can do as a fan of the sport is support that move. even though i don’t like nelo much

At least with nelo he has actually the speed advantage over Kov.. smaller dudes who are climbing weight classes need to have that advantage over bigger guys. It’s a prerequisite if you wanna atleast have a decent chance.
Jacobs and GGG wont even have that over Kov albeit being smaller.. that’s why they’d have lesser chances
Mikey didn’t have that advantage over spence and look how embarassing that was.[/QUOTE]

Nah. This is a joke of a fight. Kovalev is ripe for the picking. Golden boy picked the most vulnerable champion as usual .

Do you want fact? or fiction?

Okey, let's me give you fact...there is a reason why Canelo choose Kovalev, even thought your heart betray you and you don't wan to see it. Fight not going the distance, Kovalev is going don't ugly (hurt specially to the body). Sadly, he can't pull the trigger no more.

And who did GGG Bud spence loma fought that’s equal to the risk of moving up 2 weight classes against a champ there?hmmmm...

Even loma is scared to fight a fossil pacquiao a weightclass above his current weight
Will spence fight lara? Why anyone else has not done anything remotely close if it’s so efiin easy??

I dont like nelo... but GGG or jacobs gets sparked in there against Kov.. or you think they’ll be favorites? Lol!! If it’s such a joke they should be

With no weight stipulations, I believe Kovalev will win this fight. This isn't Chavez Jr. or Rocky Fielding he's going up against. Kov is a much bigger guy with great power, a great jab, and severely underrated boxing skills. Even a "washed up" Kov (as they say) may still be the hardest puncher in the division, as well as the best outside boxer. He does have questionable stamina/punch resistance but I've never seen it exposed by a smaller man. Because of that i don't think canelo has the power to stop kovalev. He himself has questionable stamina too so I don't think he will have the output either.

If Canelo takes it, then I will give him massive props for pulling it off. But i think Kov wins by either early KO or a UD.

nah Kovalev is basically cashing out, there might even be an extra under the table bonus for Kovalev after Canelo gets the win...

I'm with you bro. I think people have underestimated Kovalev and think he's more past it than he is. I have him winning this fight

Unless Father Time has really caught up to Kov or his punch resistance is compromised I think he will win. He is a puncher with skills.

But Canelo has turned to the James Toney of our time, hard to bet against him. Some how he just doesn't make anything easy for anybody.
