Does anyone else think Canelo is going to take an absolute beating against Kovalev?

    1) one cannot "mentally" break Kova... (while "physically" is most likely)...
    2) if Canelo (accidentally) walks into a Kova's actual power shot... then it's the end...

350 million dollar investment in Canelo by DAZN. Vegas likes him because he brings the money to town. He's the centerpiece for the WBC. Gee I wonder what's going to happen if it goes to the judges?? Kovalev has to stop him (win)or knock him down numerous times (risky) to win a decision.

I really would like to happen that Kovalev defeats Canelo but Golden Boy chose Kovalev for a reason. Despite kovalev's size, Canelo has the speed and chin which will be a huge asset for him. Honestly Golovkin(in my opinion) is the only one currently who can beat Canelo right now(I believe he did)

Canelo is a super talented guy. He's got a decent resume and despite being one of the biggest fans of GGG on the board I agree that he lost the rematch to Canelo. But Canelo has a long history of looking for the oldest and/or most vulnerable looking champion. He did that by fighting Cotto for a middleweight belt. He did that by making GGG wait 2 years for the fight. He did that by challenging Liam Smith for a title at 154 when he returned there. He did that by chosing Rocky Felding's bogus secondary title instead of Callum Smith or some other champions real belt at 168. He did it again by chosing a guy who lost 3 of his last 7 including 2 by KO instead of Dimitri Bivol, Artur Beterbiev or Oleksandr Gvozdyk. Some fans confuse that with daring to be great. Most people with common sense know better.

So for those in the back,

          Canelo ducked=

@154-Rematch with Lara and fights with both Charlo brothers, Jarrett Hurd and Demetrious Andrade etc.

@160-Jermall Charlo, Demetious Andrade, Sergei Derevychenko etc.

@168-Gilberto Ramirez, Callum Smith, Caleb Plant, David Benevidez, Billy Joe Saunders etc.

@175- Dimitri Bivol, Artur Beterbiev or Oleksandr Gvozdyk etc.

Okey, let's me give you fact...there is a reason why Canelo choose Kovalev, even thought your heart betray you and you don't wan to see it. Fight not going the distance, Kovalev is going don't ugly (hurt specially to the body). Sadly, he can't pull the trigger no more.
Agree I do withe you , very much yes.

I never wanted to say this but if it is not fixed, Canelo should take a beating.

If there are no weight stipulations then I think Kovalev outboxes Canelo over 12 and gets robbed. Superior jab, height, reach and power.

I have a feeling that Canelo is going to take an absolute beating. Weight classes exist for a reason. Massive respect to Canelo for taking this fight though with no catchweight and going to full 175. But this is going to get ugly
                      I do. He'll get robbed.
