Ibragimov and Austin Battle To a Draw

    Ibragimov-Austin battle to draw!
In a bout where both fighters tasted the canvas, Sultan Ibragimov (19-0-1, 17 KOs) and Ray Austin (24-3-4, 16 KOs) battled to a twelve round draw Friday night at the Seminole Hard Rock LIVE Arena in Hollywood, Florida. Ibragmimov dropped Austin with a right hand in round four, while Austin returned the favor in round ten with a left hook. Ibragimov's aggressiveness was muted enough by the 6'6 Austin's work from the outside. Scores were 114-112 Austin 115-111, Ibragimov, 113-113. The bout was an IBF elimintor for the right to face world champion Wladimir Klitschko, so the the draw a rematch may be forthcoming.

that was a pretty entertaining heavyweight match, i really enjoyed it. I had it 114-112 IBROGIMOV. i dont hate the draw but i do disagree with it. i would love to see a rematch.

And mcline said he would take on tua, which has potential to be a pretty good fight.

Ibragimov and Austin Battle To a Draw

It appears IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko did not receive a new mandatory tonight, as Sultan Ibragimov (19-0-1, 17 KOs) and Ray Austin (24-3-4, 16 KOs) fought to a twelve round draw. [details]

i had ibragimov up by one,,,so maybe a draw was a perfect call,,lol. it was very close and could have gone either way. hopefully they'll rematch.I hope ibragimov also gets his weight back down to 220. 232 is way too heavy for his frame

I think the draw was fair but they definitly need to do a rematch. Im not sold on the Russian guy but it will show a lot how he adjusts to Austins size in a rematch.

but Vlad would KO either one.

                    holy horse****

                    i agree with you charlie

austin is slow and pushes his rights for the most part

when he gets flustered he does the windmill

sultan looks good on the pads but didn't seem to be able to close distance on austin

when he was inside, he got tied up

austin is slow and doesn't turn on his punches

vlad's sendin straight rights and hard jabs to sultan's soon to be mashed face all night long

he's gonna need full face gear to survive vlad unless he learns to get inside

if awkward austin wins the rematch he's gonna make mr roboto look more fluid than
