THE best fighter in the world. THE best amateur ever and all this.

So can someone tell me why is this guy struggling so bad and looking terrible vs Luke Campbell & Pedraza.
Going life and death with Linares?

Are they supposed to be great fighters or something? I see nothing but a bunch of guys who have lost in extremely bad fashion everytime they have stepped up. All 12-13-14 times combined.

Like being brutally honest they ain't true world class fighters and that includes Linares who hasn't beaten anybody even B level in his entire paper title belt collecting career.

Who have these guys ever beaten?

I could be wrong and cba to Boxrec but like 2/3s best wins are actually British level fighters?

The mark of a great fighter isn't going out and dominating everyone. The mark of a great fighter is overcoming adversity and winning tougher than expected fights.

The fact you feel he struggled with them is irrelevant. What matters is he overcame the struggles to pull out clear victories.

Don't let the ******ity of NSB drive how you assess fighters and fights.

You have these P4P #1s prior - Roy Jones Jr, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquaio etc etc
They would get blasted for struggling to much lesser extents against frankly a lot higher quality operators than these Euro level/gatekeeper types.

I look at them and I'm thinking phenom, monster, genius these type of things I don't get that with a Lomachenko. He's all kinds of vulnerable. There isn't any invincibility factor. There is no real awe factor.

I just can't. My mind won't accept the best boxer on planet earth making Luke Campbell and Linares look elite.

I think you are exagerating to say he looked ' terribile ' agaisnt luke campbell, Pedraza & Linares. I think what you're seeing is a FW/SFW fighting much bigger men at LW and struggling to impose himself the way he did agaisnt smaller guys.

How exactly did he go 'life and death' agaisnt any of them? you seem to be just making stuff up.

He was hurt and outboxed for good spurts vs Campbell and Linares dropped him and was on even terms throughout 10-11 rounds or something.

Take a Canelo, a Crawford for example could you imagine them having such issues vs this level of competition?
Nevermind 3 times in around 5 or so fights.

The thing that makes me scratch my head even more is stylistically they're really made for him or so I thought.

Now we're getting Commey vs that Teofimo kid again two guys made to order.

I'd like to see him fight Haney not bore the world to tears with another 117-111/116-112 type performance vs the above.

                  Loma V Campbell scorecards

                  119- 109
                  119 -108
                  119 - 108

                  Loma V Pedraza

                  117- 109
                  119- 107
                  117- 109

Just to get this straight dan_cov your definition of ' going life & death' is winning nearly every round / knocking linares out?

He dislocated his shoulder against Linares in the 2nd round and still made Linares quit.

Looked bad against Pedraza? Just came back from surgery and totally dominated him.

Looked bad against Campbell? Campbell, the bigger and taller man, Olympic champ, won 2-3 rounds at most.

                    What is this dumb narrative?
