Give them what they want. Feels like Canelo vs Floyd if they do it this soon.

I think Haney-Abdullaev winner still has to fight Teofimo vs Fortuna winner before becoming mandatory to Lomachenko, or something like that. I forget the details. I think the article left some detail like that out.

Agree, but I wonder if weight becomes an issue with Haney the longer it goes, he's young enough to still be growing and at some point he might start to wraken at 135 as his body grows into 140.

Don't expect anyone that knows anything to take you seriously. That's silliness.

I have my doubts. I like what I see skill wise, but then Devin signs with Hearn. Devin thinks he's getting a title shot and all he's fighting are no hopers and place keepers. If he thinks Hearn is his salvation, he has a screw loose. No protection? That's what Hearn does.

IMO promotion AND making 135 long term are reasons for the Lomachanko obsession. Loma started in the 120's and barley makes lightweight. If Haney has any shot at beating Loma it's right now. By the end of 2020 Haney's ability to make lightweight will come at a price that gets steeper over time.

Lomochenko got a title shot at his 2nd pro fight, I know it’s because of his pedigree but why can’t this kid get the same opportunity if he’s a blue chip prospect just like Lomo when he arrived at the pro scene??

Haney looks to be the real deal but how about fighting and beating some live bodies before dumping on the big dogs.
