Will Pacquiao get full credit when he beats Spence?

It would be mighty impressive, especially at this stage of his career. It probably won't be remembered as his best win or anything, but you gotta give him props. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he is a betting underdog, or if the odds are close.

You never know how people will react to it looking back historically. What happens later will change people's perceptions, for better or for worse. Ie if Spence does nothing after losing to Pacman, people who did not live to see this fight live might not have the same respect for the win as we will have. And vice-versa.

Manny isn’t willing to fight Spence so I don’t know how you can get credit for beating someone you afraid to fight.

Like always Manny’s fans will post he can beat a fighter and then when that fighter beats him those fans will make excuses and not give the guy credit for beating manny. Then they will act like the loss never happened or was somehow controversial.

My hating Manny has no bearing on whether he gets credit or not. I hated him when I gave him credit for Thurman. Hated him when I called the Bradley win in their 1st fight a robbery. Hated him when I pointed out Morales was past it when he beat him. Hated him when I made money off him beating ODH.

As a mature adult I can separate my feelings. When you grow up you hopefully will be able to do same.

If he finds his courage and agrees to fight Spence, credit will be given based on where Spence is when they fight. If Spence appears to have no ill affects post accident, Manny will get full credit. If Spence looks like a shell of himself (which is the only reason Manny would change his stance on not fighting him) then I think some credit will be given but not as much had he defeated Spence pre-accident.
