Yeah that would have been my reply but you said it for me essentially.

      Needs some jail time.

Can't allow this dangerous action to go unpunished.

It doesn't matter if I do or don't drive, because I don't drink in either case.

He needs to face some punishment, could have killed innocent people out there for being an idiot

I disagree on jail. Probation and community service seem more appropriate.

If Spence, can walk away from this without career ending ramifications, then his star power can give him a platform to become a powerful role model and advocate against drinking and driving by highlighting his problems with alcohol and how he overcame them.

I don't think jail will do Spence or anyone else any good, and it isn't required as I doubt he will ever put himself in such a situation.

Let's see how Spence and his handlers deal with this because it can't be business as usual. I hope they proactively get in front of the situation and do something good.

Getting a jail term will serve as a deterrent to others, others who would not be so fortunate and make kill themselves as well as others.

Needs also a 5 year driving ban.

I agree that if you are caught drunk driving jail time should be mandatory, but there are no laws for it. And no one was harmed but himself.

he isnt getting no jail time for a first DUI and wreckless driving. Even a regular joe wouldnt and spence is rich and can afford good lawyers.

If he ***s up again on probation, then he could go to jail.

Hopefully Spence comes out this with with a different view on life.
I get what you’re saying, but Spence already has 2 kids. Leaving behind a lot of money for them should something happen is better than nothing, but all the money in the world can’t replace a father.
