A car like that is meant to protect someone in a crash, although it looks bad on the outside, it has a monocoque where the driver would be protected if they are strapped in.

At the speeds needed to cause that kind of damage, I'm skeptical.

Im sorry for his family and kids, but he is lucky to even survive this and lucky he was alone in the car. He could have killed someone or himself with his idiocy. Some really dumb decisions in a row. So **** you Spence, I cant feel too sorry for him, but I hope he gets well enough to take care of his kids.

Guys have to be realistic. Even though you can afford a extremely high performance vehicle, doesn't necessarily mean you can drive it to its max on US highways.

For all we know, not wearing the seat belt probably saved his life. He could have been smashed inside the car strapped down since it had no roof as it spun and hit the ground
