And in doing so Pacquiao showed us where the bar truly, currently sits. This would have been like Chavez beating De La Hoya when they fought. The difference is De La Hoya's generation was packed with talent and Oscar was a legitimate HOFer unlike the crap piles we have active currently.

      Yep, all true.
Major respect to De La Hoya he never backed down from a challenging opponent. He fought the best of the best in his era in their primes.

These days we have cherry pickers like Crawford and Spence trying to inflate their “win” record to market themselves as “the best”.

Gotta blame Floyd for all that malarkey.

Pacquiao took a couple middle rounds off and then lit him up again starting in the 10th and then finished Thurman off. He could’ve gone in for the kill and KO’d him but he already had the decision in the bag.

Pacquiao even at 40, is still worlds above the current WW boxers. Nucking futs.
100% true. An old past prime and part time boxer pac is still the top welterweight today....

So a razor thin split decision that Pac was out punched in (both power punches and total punches) = outclassed?

Again name one credible boxing analyst or publication or current or retired boxer that rates Pac top three all time. Just one. You can't. There isn't any.

That's some man crush you got going on there.

Robert Garcia, one of boxing boxing greats, said Pacman should be one of the GOAT.

One of the greatest boxers, Julio Cesar Chavez, called Manny the GOAT.

Erik Morales says Pacman is the GOAT.
