Just watched it too, this is how I saw it -

          RD 1 10-8 GGG
          RD 2 10-9 GGG
          RD 3 9-10 SD
          RD 4 9-10 SD
          RD 5 9-10 SD
          RD 6 10-9 GGG
          RD 7 10-9 GGG
          RD 8 10-9 GGG
          RD 9 10-0 GGG
          RD 10 9-10 SD
          RD 11 10-9 GGG
          RD 12 10-10

          116-112 GGG

The score does not reflect how close those rounds were but GGGs extra skill set and accuracy won a lot of the close rounds. I would not mind a rematch but GGG now needs to think of a retirement plan. Either he fights the rematch, tries hard for that Canelo fight or just retire because he is slowly rusting.

round 9: starts with a huge GGG uppercut which buckles SD legs for a split second, he recovers well and starts bouncing on his feet. he then lands his best sequence of punches since (round3?) which has GGG backpeddling, Golovkin then comes back at the end of the round. i had to rewatch this round as well as it was so close. i think SD edges it on the sequence half way through tho.

              5-4 SD

Round 10 is the best round of the fight so far, and also SD best round of the fight since round 3. it starts with a series of unanswered blows by SD, Golovkin finishes the round landing some big right hooks but its too late, clear SD round.

                6-4 SD.

round 11: SD comes out flurrying on Golovkin, theres nothing on his punches now but some of them are getting through. Golovkin regains his composure and lands heavy jabs, followed by big right hooks. SD looking a bit weary now, some of those hooks look to momentarily buzz him. clear Golovkin round

                    6-5 SD.

round 12: SD is rushing into the inside ward style flurrying bodyshots and then clinching. Golovkin is landing some big left hooks on SD who is looking very ragged, hes still fighting back and lands a nice right hook in the final 30 seconds, Golovkin finishes with a big uppercut. good round for golovkin.

6-6 even. Golovkin wins with the KD. very good fight but not the gatti /ward war that lou dibella was describing.
