I don't think Alvarez is "avoiding" a third fight with Golovkin, or that he's intimidated, or wary, of fighting him in any way. I think its possible that he really dislikes golovkin enough that he's not going to entertain any demands from golovkin about where the fight is going to be and he intends to deprive hi of a nice career ending retirement purse.

Hard to say he is scared, after going 24 rounds with him...and fighting in the center of the ring in fight 2.

I just think for Canelo, those were probably his two toughest/most physical fights by far...if he has other similar options, he would probably rather go that route, rather than GGG 3...he already has the official W over GGG now so I can see his point that 'what else is there for me to prove' there as well.

I just feel he knows those 2 fights, especially fight 2, were wars for him...and is content to look elsewhere at the moment...I think GGG gets paid the same regardless though so not sure about the depriving him of a payday part, could be wrong though.

After last night GGG needs to either start working behind the jab again or retire imo...SD fought a great fight and I felt he was the better man last night (though I edged it to GGG on the cards)...if he can dictate to GGG like that, Canelo should be able to do that and more I would assume.
