Opinions aside, the record shows Golovkin drew and lost in his two fights with canelo. Canelo has made it plain, for whatever reasons, that he doesn't want or see any need to fight Golovkin again. If Golovkin really wants to "force" a third fight he needs a big win tonight then something "big" to follow it like stepping up and winning a title at 168 or beating Andrade and looking for a unification with canelo at 160. Anything less than something along those lines, it might be 2021 before Alvarez considers him again.

Tbh I can't really see how anyone can score either fight for Nelo unless you just ignore a lot of GGG's work.

I think SD is just trying to be neutral there...as he is fighting GGG so showing respect to him, but also wants the Canelo fight, so will try and show respect to him too...it is also easier for a 3rd party like SD to say 'both guys lost' in the sense that he can view them both as losers, and will probably help him to feel superior to them.
If he said GGG won both, he is kind of elevating GGG over himself, and mentally he wouldn't want to do that.

As I said about SD, he has a reason to say both lost...so I wouldn't read too much into that.
If someone neutral out there really felt Nelo won fight 2, then that's cool...I just personally can't see it when I watch the fight.
I think most people immediately after the fight said GGG won as well...not that that really matters...but since you were trying to argue that point I figured I would throw it out there that right after the fight it seemed like over 50% of those who watched had GGG winning.
Nelo did well in spots...but unless you give bonus points to him/don't score shots for GGG, I just don't see Nelo getting close to 7 rounds.
