Now we see why fighters choose to fight on even when they are injured prior to a fight. It's because if they don't fight then they won't get paid.

This would have been the last thing on Clarissa's to do list to have this fight canceled. Now she won't get paid. She missed out on entire payday after an 8 week training camp.

Now the only one's who are going to get paid are the promoters because they have Promoter's insurance; In the event, that something like this occurs.

They can recover all of their losses and damages through their premiums but the fighters cannot. For the boxers it's a total loss.

Agree with everything minus the bolded. I think this is on the guy who did it. She cant control everyone on her team. No one can control everyone on their team. I didnt see that Shields had anything to do with it. If she said go hit that old mfer then okay its more on her.

The trainer who got knocked out started by getting into one of sheilds team members face. A female at that.

Yeah i saw that bit on youtube and then it seemed to simmer down and the next bit in the clip was the trainer bloodied and unconscious. Messing up opportunities and paydays for the teams with this sort of behaviour.

Dont matter. If you invite someone to a party & then that guy kills someone should that result in you being punished in some way. I dont think so. Granted Imma be wary of mfers you invite to future activities, but you dont deserve punishment off of someone elses actions.

I think lotsa folks just dont dig Shields, & I get that shes got ass hole tendencies no doubt about it, & looking to find some way to make her guilty here more than theyd be saying that in similar situations with other folks.

This is supposed to be some kind of professional engagement and I personally think you should be held responsible for your entourage
Not sure if it was her brother or not , but my thinking is you bring who ever needs to be there and then chit like this don’t happen or shouldn’t happen ( chances are you can influence 5 to 8 people but obviously not 20 to 30 people who really don’t belong there

Its a private or semi private event not unlike a party doe is what Im getting at. But pick your situation. There are plenty of similar situations.

You invite a friend to the doctor with you to drive you home. Friend gets into a fight & hurts someone while you getting w/e done to you. Thats on your friend not on you. You shouldnt be held accountable for some bs he did even if you did bring him.
