Ali getting sucker punched was a ***** move. Period. But at the same time, in our current societal climate, he's arguing with sheild's sister in their hometown at a public event. That takes balls. If it were you and I arguing in your hometown, and after we're separated I continue to go on about harming you, IMO I would be a fool to let my guard down until I left the venue strictly because you don't know what people will do to attempt to show loyalty or solidarity to a group or individual or just for attention. I have not continued to follow this situation however I hope whoever hit this man gets locked up because they could have killed him

What I'm saying is after they were separated he kept talking **** about whooping her ass. I don't care how old you are if you keep talking **** somebody is gonna see you about it. Shields has a clip up on fight hyxxxxxxx explaining the situation. The chick he was arguing with is her sister but she didn't hit him and according to shields she came with all females except her boyfriend. Also the person they had in custody has been released.
For the record you can't, or at least I can't tell who started what from the video. And in the grand scheme of things that really doesn't matter. Folks need to realize you can't get to bumpin your gums like you the hardest and expect know one to see you or in this day and age sneak you. Once they were separated he should and she should have stfu. If you're arguing for show stfu once you leave the stage.

First thing to note ... this didn't happen in a bar or on the street. It happened at a weigh in for a boxing match, where trash talk, insults, threats of violence, and even some degree of pushing and shoving are common place, and viewed as part and parcel of the game.

Bashir lost his cool and behaved unprofessionally. He shouldn't have threatened a female with violence, even if she is a lesbian who dresses and behaves like a man. But at the end of the day, all he did was run his mouth off too much.

Words are one thing. Attacking a 71 year old man from behind, so violently that he is left unconscious and needing surgery to reconstruct his face ... that's something else altogether.

I agree with the bolded, and just made that same point myself.

But I don't agree with holding Clarissa herself responsible for the assault on Bashir, unless it turns out that she instigated or encouraged it, which doesn't seem to be the case.
