Told heads this. The $100 mil is by all inclusive performance metrics. It just means that GGG has to hit a certain standard every fight to get the premium. It doesn’t mean GGG gets a guaranteed $100mil. It’s just means the threshold that DAZN is guaranteed to give GGG to play the part.

In other words, Loeffler could’ve easily stipulated in the contracts, which I’m more than sure he did, “IF we fight Canelo Alvarez (on the Mexican dates) - because of PPV history - GGG’s minimum guarantee is $40million.” This could easily have been stipulated. DAZN doesn’t care because that’s the most lucrative fight for them in having GGG. That’s why Loeffler pushed for it.

    GGG - Rolls 15 mil
    GGG - Alvarez 40mil

That’s already 55 million to GGG and Loeffler’s scheme.

Means the 4 remaining fights are 11.5mil and GGG can fight whomever.

Canelo’s people protected him from this. Same type of schemes, people, whom helped out Haymon for the Whyte Rivas mess. People talk
Hmm your speculating but then saying it's fact. Would have could have should have aren't facts. You may be right but it's based on speculation.

Bad judges can change perception and allow fan boys to justify ducking.

I'm not sure what Canelo proves by fighting a past his prime Kovalev whose lost - I think 2 out of his last 5 fights off the top of my head and both were stoppages - not even debatable decisions?
Are a bunch of fat guys who have never boxed a single day in their lives scorecards more valid than the numerous trainers and boxers who say Canelo won?

Do you think he is after the money ? Really?
Do you not think with everything that has been said by GGG and his handlers and having lost 1 fight and drawn another ,he would want to get in the ring and beat canelo?
        Is it really about money?
        He is a fighter.
In my opinion if GGG drew the first fight then the second fight was a draw as well.
But if you think canelo deserved a draw in the first fight then GGG deserved at least a draw in the second.

Quit fibbing. Most people had Canelo winning the 2nd fight. Even Abel Sanchez thought Canelo won.

I think MisanthropicNY's name says it all. Misanthropic definition according to Webster: "marked by a hatred or contempt for humankind." His tag line, MGTOW. defined by dictionary.com as: "men going their own way." This is a movement that renounces interactions with women. At least he is upfront about it. To each his own I guess.

"Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix reported Thursday morning that negotiations for their third fight have stalled largely due to Golovkin’s reluctance to face Alvarez in Las Vegas for a third time. The former middleweight champion made it clear in the aftermath of his fourth-round knockout of Steve Rolls on June 8 that he wants their third fight to take place elsewhere.

According to Mannix, also a commentator for DAZN, promoter Oscar De La Hoya will start looking at other opponents for Alvarez’s next fight if they can’t come to a resolution by Friday."

I can only imagine his list of demands if he claims the belt vs Chenko as he's expected to.
Great post! That about sums it up.

Golovkin gets much more from DAZN for fighting Canelo than fighting anyone else. That is baked into Golovkin's contract. Obviously the is not the case for Canelo. He does not receive more money from DAZN for fighting GGG.

Ive read on this site that they BOTH receive more when they fight better opponents.
