I'm not sure what Canelo proves by fighting a past his prime Kovalev whose lost - I think 2 out of his last 5 fights off the top of my head and both were stoppages - not even debatable decisions?

Do you not think with everything that has been said by GGG and his handlers and having lost 1 fight and drawn another ,he would want to get in the ring and beat canelo?
Is it really about money?
He is a fighter.
In my opinion if GGG drew the first fight then the second fight was a draw as well.
But if you think canelo deserved a draw in the first fight then GGG deserved at least a draw in the second.

Quit fibbing. Most people had Canelo winning the 2nd fight. Even Abel Sanchez thought Canelo won.

Originally posted by Caxcan View PostGGG wanted the fights with Canelo so badly, he rejected a career high payday for the first one, was perfectly willing to price himself out of a massive payday for the second (which was only salvaged a the last minute by GB who gave into his inflated demands), and he wanted third fight so badly, he was trying to dictate the location coming off a loss and with no belt.
"Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix reported Thursday morning that negotiations for their third fight have stalled largely due to Golovkin’s reluctance to face Alvarez in Las Vegas for a third time. The former middleweight champion made it clear in the aftermath of his fourth-round knockout of Steve Rolls on June 8 that he wants their third fight to take place elsewhere.
According to Mannix, also a commentator for DAZN, promoter Oscar De La Hoya will start looking at other opponents for Alvarez’s next fight if they can’t come to a resolution by Friday."
I can only imagine his list of demands if he claims the belt vs Chenko as he's expected to.
