Spence has LOTS of power to hurt Manny. He is a much bigger harder hitting fighter than Marquez who knocked Manny out with one punch. Manny is the one who can't hurt Spence who has never been knocked down down in his life. Spence is the one with over 80% KO wins while Pac has only 1 KO win in his last ten fights. So who is the puncher these days? I say it's Spence. News flash for you. Porter lost by two scores of 116 to 111. Porter got outlanded by 212 punches to 172 punches. Spence landed more punches and power punches in 10 of the 12 rounds. Spence dominated the championship rounds 11 and 12 and put tough Porter down. Porter's footwork didn't bother Spence. Spence won the damn fight. Anyway it's impossible for Manny to beat Spence if he won't fight him and he won't fight him.

As great as he is or was its asking too much of pac to fight Spence its just not worth the damage his legacy is sealed and his performance vs Thurman was vintage stuff
Let the man retire with a couple of easier money fights he doesn't need the damage he would come out of a Spence fight with win or lose

Porter's dad trained Spence when he was with USA boxing and Porter and Spence had trained/sparred together. Porter's Team knew Spence strengths and weaknesses very well and put together a very effective game plan. Porter came in much heavier (after rehydrating) than Manny will come in. Porter is much stronger than Spence, Manny is not.
Spence has the same reach advantage (72-67) over Manny that Floyd had so Spence can easily fight from the outside and neutralize Manny's angles and power with distance and movement.
Styles make fights. Porter was a tough fight for Spence but that doesn't mean Manny will be. There is a reason Manny and his team are not fighting Spence.
In his prime, Manny would demolish that kid IMO.

A Prime Pacquiao takes Spence to school.
But this 41 year old Pacquiao does not have the engine to keep pace with Spence for 12 rounds.
Pacquiao would be leading on the cards at 8, but we have seen Pacquiao fading and take minutes and rounds off.
Not surprising the guy is 41.
It not impossible for Pacquiao to beat Spence now, but Spence would be favourite if it happened now.
5 years Pacquiao wins and in 5 years time Pacquiao would also win.

I also think some fans are AFRAID of things not turning out the way they want it to in a fight.
That being said, I've always posted that I'm not giving any of these younger guys automatic wins over Pacquiao just because they're younger, I need to see them actually beat him...IF THEY CAN!
I want to see this fight, does Pacquiao have to take this fight? ABSOLUTELY NOT! On the flip side, Spence Jr don't need him to write his own legacy either, that is why him and Bud need EACH OTHER! In order to be considered the best in their ERA, they have to go to WAR
People right off Pacquiao because of his age, Even at 41 he can still move. Lots of people conviently also forget that Pac sparred with Porter for a long time and felt his power. People made Spence out to be some mythical speed demon with massive power. The Spence I saw had pretty slow footwork.
No doubt he will land some shots on Pac but If Porter was able to touch him, Pac will hit him a lot.
I've said this for a min now, Only person that I would be worried about Pac fighting at this point in his career is Crawford. Spence esp after what I've seen with Porter, Pac can handle that.
