I also think some fans are AFRAID of things not turning out the way they want it to in a fight.

That being said, I've always posted that I'm not giving any of these younger guys automatic wins over Pacquiao just because they're younger, I need to see them actually beat him...IF THEY CAN!

I want to see this fight, does Pacquiao have to take this fight? ABSOLUTELY NOT! On the flip side, Spence Jr don't need him to write his own legacy either, that is why him and Bud need EACH OTHER! In order to be considered the best in their ERA, they have to go to WAR
    I agree with this shlt!!!

Spence wants Manny, lets see if Manny goes for it and proves you right.

Im an OG ******* but I dunno about him beating Spence man.

If he does it would elevate his legacy even more and would probably go down as his best win and he'll be getting it at 41f'ng years old.

        Insane.

I think Pacquiao would be fine. Even late. It was late that he was taking bombs from Thurman. And late he still has the power to hurt guys. I recently rewatched the porter-spence fight and Porter was seriously in control of that fight for most of it with Spence putting up a game effort, but he was just getting outboxed badly. It was a close fight absolutely, I think they need to rematch asap, but I’d also like to see this Pacquiao fight.

No joke though, when rewatching the Porter fight I think Spence might be legit on the spectrum. I don’t think he just looks goofy outside. That 3rd rd where he’s just wailing lowblows and rabbit punches, I was just thinking what the hell is wrong with this kid? He fights so lumbering and almost devoid of critical thinking, energy or urgency and it didn’t help when Porter was pivoting him too, and that dancing going into rd 10 like he’s the sht, coming off taking a whooping just minutes prior. I think the refs might let him get away with so many lowblows because he’s special needs. Either that or he was really drained or he comes into the ring doped up on some anti-anxiet drugs or somesht. Something off about him.

If the Pac fight is to happen, just make it sooner rather than later. Don’t want to see it when Pacquiao is pushing 42. In your forties you age much quicker year by year.

I think he beats Thurman. Thurman's camp seemed to agree because they wouldn't fight him. If Manny and his Team agreed with you they'd be willing to take the Spence fight, which they haven't.

Hopefully they do and we get to see what happens. I will gladly take Spence if the Spence/Manny fight is signed.

I see where you're coming from. Spence' fight against Porter kinda diminished Spence' aura of invincibility but we should also realize that Porter brought his A-game. Porter's style makes Spence look worse of a fighter than he really is IMO.

I'm still leaning towards Spence beating Pacquiao at this point. Bud I'm pretty sure beats Pacquiao. Thus is an unpopular opinion but unless Pac fights Shawn in his 50's, Shawn gets beat up by Pac.

But hey, we wouldn't know for sure unless they actually fight. I could be entirely wrong but this is how I see it at this point.

The ww division is probably the most intriguing weight class in boxing right now. We got an old legend, a masterful technical boxer, a durable pressure fighter, an up and coming star. It's like a f'ng fighting game with characters having different stats and can beat each other up.

Hope Bud gets in the mix.
