My opinion: No, it would not make Spence a better fighter. My question was about their work at welter, however. If he beats Pac, I still wouldn't consider him to have done better work at welter. However, if he goes on to clean out the division, including Crawford, I think he has an argument for doing better work at Welter than Manny.
