Thurman, they never released official numbers, only this guys tweet, source is of course anonymous. No but Spence already took Mexican followers with him with his shutout victory over Mikey. This would not surprise me as I predicted it can get around these numbers.

Imagine being a fan and watching that fight and thinking they don't want to watch Spence again L-O-L.

And once again, you folks ran with the myth that Mikey sold all the PPVs last fight and had majority of the crowd at Dallas Stadium...And now are trying to make more excuses for why this PPV did as well as it did.

Just admit Spence is a bigger star than you thought and having the FOX machine behind him leads to these types of results.

Big argument can be made that Spence is right now the biggest star fighting in America outside of Canelo/Pacquiao. NO ONE else has been able to do the numbers he has been able to do on PPV. Granted, we will know more after Wilder/Ortiz.

I was putting the over/under at 250k buys, so looks like it will be surpassing that.

Solid number. I think Porter really did his part in pushing sales. They are going to need Danny to do the same thing because Spence by nature seems quiet and reserved.

Spence is going to need to be more charismatic if he is to drive PPv sales IMO.

What’s the point? Yeah Spence have become a bigger star now since the Mikey fight. There’s no denying in there. We will never know now cause they didn’t try having him on PPV before the Mikey fight. Why do you think they didn’t? And why was the Porter fight not initially booked as a PPV before they made certain adjustments? And why were the undercards mostly composed of at least a Mexican in there?

I do give credit to PBC for carefully building up Spence career and they made him a big star. After all, he’s their favorite son

Not a fan of PPV model, as I don't see many viable PPV-caliber fights in near future, but it's good news for sport of boxing that they can still do these sort of numbers. Spence is an exciting fighter, and Porter always puts on entertaining fights due to his style.
