Man I kind of hate the PPV model... but at the same time I think it sucks that boxing/boxing stars just aren't mainstream anymore.

I mean dude...no one knows who either one of these guys are...the average boxing 'fan' knows Mayweather and Pac and that's about it...a few more may know Canelo, and some GGG and Wilder and Kovalev and Loma.

I like Spence, and Porter really impressed me in this fight, and he seems like a really good dude...but yeah I just can't see how these guys did over 100k.

Spence is no bigger of a star to me than TC and TC's PPVs are around that 100k number I believe, or less...GGG-Jacobs was like 150k as was GGG-Lemieux...I just don't see the buzz for Spence-Porter being significantly higher than any of those fights.

And I'm sure all PPV numbers are somewhat inflated...including those I referenced.

But yeah man I just don't see how this could get to 300k...I just would need to see some hard data to believe that one...Coppinger seems like an OK guy but he also seems kind of like a wh.ore too.

Just think of all the downside for Spence/PBC if these numbers 'flop'...they have every incentive to try and inflate these numbers imo

I saw it at an IMAX Theater. It was 3/4 full and rocked. I'm hooked on the huge screen, reclining seats, and surround sound. Sounds like you're actually at the fight ..... cheers, noises, chatter, punches coming from all around you, LoL.
