A few years ago when Canelo-Smith sold about the same amount of ppvs as Spence-Porter the haters on here were calling it a complete failure and making fun of Canelo and Oscar saying they had failed and all that bullshet!
But now it's Spence and PBC selling about the same amount of ppvs and all of a sudden it's a complete success.....

Well, totally different situations. Canelo is THAT dude and the big PPV draw. Floyd/Berto sold 500k and it was demeed a disaster. Why? Look at his guarantees for the fight. 300K is damn good period. NO one from Ward/Kovalev/GGG/Crawford were doing these types of numbers, or even coming close to it. Heck, all those guys were hitting the half mark of what Spence has done in 2019.

No spin my guy, that's just reality. Again, I mentioned Floyd doing 500k and that was seen as a bad number. Why? His guarantee was 30M+.

Surprisingly strong. I don't think even Pac would have pulled in much more with Porter. Spence seems to have some drawing power. Dude hasn't even had the star boost a lot of fighters get, like Canelo did from fighting Mayweather. He's getting this momentum on his own.
